You have no idea what you're talking about, sir. I am not the youngest, I am the middle out of three. but you still have an older brother or sister which is what i suggested I've been very quiet and introverted, very shy from the first day I went to school. I hated getting attention and the such, but I felt like I should be a strong person and be myself despite what others think so you are shy and hate attention yet dye your hair different colours, get piercings and sing at the top of your voice when walking down a busy high street.......yeah, cos that will make you blend in to your surroundings!
Right now, I have long straight brown hair, and I dress in jeans and tee shirts. I don't look wierd. why would all these people you have previously mentioned give you "looks" and attitude if you look AND act like a regular decent person??? that does not make sense at all. if your image is now regarded as completely normal then unless you are acting like a mug there is NO reason for anyone to give you grief mate!
I never said I was mean to these people, and I don't come in all loud and crazy expecting a reaction. ??? in your original post you said "Man, ever since the first day of having this thing, it has been a blast bothering the heck out of everyone I can think of. And only because it shows them their own ridiculousness in their preconcieved notions--which I think is a good deed if anything is.
Places where lots of old people shop. Or rich people. They will give you the most horrible looks. It's as though they are really reaching to disturb you or make you feel so terribly ashamed that you acTually question the lifestyle you live.. with flaming self-hatred and a hopelessness for redemption. I really feel this is what these women (and sometimes men) are trying to convey to me when they see vapor pour from my lips right there in the middle of the pricey clothing store." it's just what they give me, and any time I try and be nice or explain, they look away or give me this look like they're wincing away in pain. Why does everyone make so many outlandish assumptions just because I speak my mind? You'll find that when you strive to be honest there isn't much to be negative about when you accept things as they are and proceed accordingly.
But I still had my dignity. I still had my honor. That was still intact.
Actually that is incorrect. Our personal nicotine vaporizors may not fall under smoking bans but that does not mean we can use them in any establishment we want. Each business sets its own rules and standards. And here in New England atleast very few want these used in their establishments. They don't care that its legal, they don't care if its harmless, they simply don't want the hassle of people complaining or lighting up cigarettes. This girl is feeling what we all have felt the second we started vaping... when that thought crosses your mind "Wait a minute! I can smoke in here!" it's extremely thrilling.
As more and more people switch over to e-smoking I'm sure places will start advertising that they are e-smoking friendly and then the dominos will fall into place. But until then its quite incorrect to think "I can vape here!" without first finding out.
Not really. They may have chased after you apologizing but unless they changed their mind and allowed you to vape then the anti's still have more power than the vapers. Business owners are more worried about many more people walking out or complaining to them because they think someone is smoking then they are about the occassional e-smoker. Not to mention the hassle if somebody mistakes the e-cig for a real cig and then files a complaint against the business with the smoking ban enforcement office.I agree with DisMan. I have had pub owners chasing after me, apologising that I've left because they won't let me vape.
We finally have a bit of power over the anti's.
