We were given permission here at work for a short time. Then they hired someone who didnt know what it was and didnt understand it. She complained to HR and now we cant use them in the building anymore. She thinks the water vapor we are exhaling is going to give her "second-hand smoke cancer". Oh well, it was good while it lasted and we will be in our new office at the end of the month/beginning of next month and we have permission there. So all will be good.

First off, thank you for your service. I just had one question, though. I'm planning on joining the Army soon and I always wondered if they would let you use a PV in basic training. Do you think the drill sergeants would mind?

If you can't buy in the PX under the watchful eyes of a Drill Sergeant, don't expect to be able to keep it during basic.

Short answer: No. No vaping during basic. No smoking, no drinking, no candy (unless you're on pass or it's in your MRE), and no vaping.

On the bright side, when I went into basic I was a pack a day smoker. I barely even thought about it during those 9 weeks.

Picked it right back up when it was all over though.

You'll be fine.

Nope, you won't be able to and i wouldn't think about trying to sneak it, you'll be very sore if you get caught, and you will.
