Can't you switch providers?

I probably could, but not without causing major interruption to my and DH's life... Not worth the hassle ATM. I already wasted 4 days trying to fix this stupid glitch. Still not fixed BTW.

They're charging you to find out what's wrong with their service, or did I miss something?

Yup. You're not missing anything. They cut me off and they don't know how when or why.

Admire the hell out of you for being able to laugh about it.

What's the alternative? Cry? I considered that briefly. Not yet.

If I'm missing tomorrow night, it's because we're traveling and have no internet or unsafe internet.
