77,136 !!! Five years this petition has been running and all it comes up with is 77,136 signatures
- do you realize that is a pathetically small number? - Might even cause politicians to vote aganst us as they see very few people care.
I'd agree except this petition had, I believe, over 440,000 signatures before change. org started deleting them. My only guess at this point is that they have a time period in which the deem the signatures valid and delete them after that. As we've said, we're only keeping this thread alive right because of the pandemic to keep people aware and try to provide a little entertainment.
When
@Lessifer started this petition he did so because no one else was doing anything about the attacks on vaping including CASSA. He hasn't been here for two years and I don't even know if he's still alive.
Thankfully I no longer see solicitations for online petitions - And in retrospect wonder if the petition drives were started by the anti vape people to demonstate how weak politically the vaping lobby is ?
The person who started this petition did so because he was very passionate about vaping, despite some forum members who ridiculed him for doing so.
Are there any petitions you know of that actualy got significant numbers of signatures?
The hope had been to get a million signatures on this one. Having hundreds of thousands of signers wasn't bad at all considering how apathetic most vapors seem to be.
Only good side of all this is when they realize vaping was never really that poplar and the epidemic was a fantasy of groups like Bloomberg Philanthropies - Maybe then the control feaks will find something else to latch on to and will leave the vaping market alone ???
They just did, in Texas, against women.
