Swell! I'm glad I'm not the only one missing something.

Yeah, still some glitches, and some learning.
Still doesn't want to take animated gifs... but I was able to paste in some gifs...
Alas, not as many as before, although they do appear when in the reply pane.

@Nermal and @BillW50 , THANK YOU!!! I guess I was desperately trying to figure out how to escape ECF, took a while, when you guys responded. Been keeping an eye on the help thread but honestly, this new setup is a buzz kill. Why have to take several steps when it only took one click before? Grrrr

Sorry you have had some difficulties. Yes the gifs weren't working at first, but that got fixed as soon as it was noted in the site thread :

Even tho ECF went Live with the new set up it takes a while for things to complete - especially with a forum this large.
There are always bugs to get worked out and they can be worked out much better if we are told about them

Years back, one or our cats loved Oreos. Would rip packages open to get at them. Wouldn't touch Hydrox. If I'd thought about it, I could have made a lot of money doing Oreo commercials
One thing is for sure, if you ask a question someone seems to know and is willing to help. One reason I like ECF so much.
I was on a forum, probably back just before the Stone Age, and as far as I remember there were no likes, photo inserts, tagging someone other than just addressing them in the text, smilies, etc. Hey, it worked and you didn't need an advanced degree to use it. The 2015 update wasn't too hard to figure out but this one is just more time-consuming than I can give it right now. Picking up a little here and there but it's usually stuff I'd never use anyway. Hey, where's my little purple, slightly rocked back smilie with its eyes staring at the heavens?

Also yep. Just figure out what you first (and mostly) need, pick up the rest as needed.
How I look in at ECF these days to see if anything is going on.
