Still making headway with signatures, oh how I wish there were about 500,000. Been spreading the link and also word of mouth as much as possible.

My mother used to spend part of her summer visiting her cousin at Heceta Head Lighthouse where her uncle was a light keeper. This was back in the late 1920s, early 30s. Not an easy place to get to. The roads out there weren't paved yet. When the lighthouse was built, there were no roads, everything was brought in by sea.

Her uncle's family lived in the house on the right.

The old barracks (top right) was remodeled into a residence for the CO. He didn't want it, offered it to the XO, my Dad.

Being as USCG pay, even for officers, wasn't all that great back then, I think it was the nicest house we had!
