I got the CASAA alert earlier this week that the bills were back in committee, I don't think I saw anything about them being approved and sent to the floor, let alone being voted on and passed... Aren't there supposed to be procedural processes like a certain number of days something has to be posted to an agenda or something like that?

I am now disgusted to call myself a california democrat...
I didn't see, or get, the first one. :( Completely caught off guard by it. Felt better when I saw zoiD hadn't seen it coming either. I'm disgusted with just about all California politicians, doesn't matter their party affiliation, I'm very disillusioned with the whole lot of them.

Today was the ceremonial start of the Iditarod! Nothing like 1,000 dogs that love their jobs.

Frankly Les, you should be disgusted. It's been the same ....... dems screwing things up for years yet they keep getting elected. It's way past the time to denounce the parties and register non partisan.

That goes for repubs too. Leave your party and really let them know we're fed up with the party bull.

Good morning folks. Sorry I've been MIA. Now that the old house is down we are having to do a LOT of yard work. Like redoing flower beds and moving plants. Several of my established bushes had to be relocated too. It is going to look real nice once it is all done but I have decided I am almost to old to be doing this kind of heavy duty work :lol::lol:

Some of those dogs are wearing booties!

I wonder how long it took to get them acclimated to booties.
I didn't even know such a thing was possible.

My dog can't make it three feet with booties on.
She acts like the world is coming to an end.

Most dogs in boots are hilarious entertainment. In mushing, the booties are pretty thin and protect the feet from snow/ice balling in the dogs' feet. They probably wear them from the time they're pups and get used to them. Modern racing dogs have to get used to wearing a lot of cloths depending on the weather, lol. (Wish I could find the picture of dogs in stripped Pipi Longstocking leggings.)

The octopus probably migrated from Japan.
Just parroting what the scientists said. They have similar ones there?
Trump'll send him back.
And make Japan build a wall to keep the other ones out.
