Don't know, but Nermal is seventeen years old and still hasn't figured out mirrors. Nermal isn't real smart.Seriously, what is it with cats and glass?
Our cat freaked at her reflection in the mirror for about 0.83 seconds and then got it. We did catch her occasionally giving herself a sideways glare at her reflection though. The one who never got it, thankfully, was our starling, unfortunately name Peckerhead because he'd peck at the wall at night if we put his cage too close to it.
Anyway, if we had to leave the house for a while, or he was bored, we'd plop him in front of the mirror and he'd motormouth with himself until we moved him.
Kept him happy his whole life, even if he did make a racket, so we were happy too.

I shouldn't laugh, I haven't used that much energy in a long time either.
@Katya, if you're out there I'd really like to know that you're safe from the fire down south. If the fire isn't near you, you probably got a major lashing from the wind anyway Stay safe!
