1413 to go. Let's keep those signatures coming!
Though I have signed it, do you believe that the Government will try to find away to tax the heck out the NicJuice? I am not worried about flavors, VG, or PG being taxed. But, getting hold of the Nicotine may become almost impossible to obtain, if the government is allowed full control. If I am wrong, please do correct me and lighten my anxiety. I was actually hoping that the government would keep their greedy noses out of ecig biz. But, what are you going to do?
The Whitehouse.gov site is rather cranky. Last night and this morning, when I clicked the link I got a blank page.
The short link from OP fails sometimes. Better use this direct link to the petition.
Below a graphical representation, showing number of accumulated signatures at the end of specific date (as of 10-11). Growth rate was leveling off at the end of first week, steep growth in second week.
What she said.Honestly, I think we might be getting ahead of ourselves. We've had to pull out all the stops just to get 5,000 signatures (which I firmly believe we'll get) . . . getting 25,000 signatures is going to be a lot more work (and a lot less certain). Moreover, we're really not sure what kind of response we're going to get to the petition.
I think before we invest a great deal of time and effort into a second petition, it might be better to see what the official response is to this one. It may be that the response we get would help us better frame another petition, if we decide to go that route.
I can't understand why this is even an issue - getting 5000 people to say they think e-cigs are a good idea should be NO PROBLEM. I've talked to some vapers recently and it seems most people still don't know about it! IMO ECF should have a 1 time or once a week popup about stuff like this
