Fiesty Alice, I just got one of moo's new Tall Boy Textured tanks and it fits Resurrectors just right for me with a little of the cartos coming out the top of the tank. It holds about 3.8 ml of juice. The Fusions fits the Phiniac's regular size tank with the carto flush to the top cap. They hold about 3.2ml of juice.

I also use the JIg&Punch that emonty posted about to punch my cartos. It works really good for me and my hands. I have the $6 one but find it harder to use. I have had no leakage from either of my Phiniacs.

I have found that filling the tanks from the top works best for me - when I fill from the bottom, my cartos seem to flood from some reason.

Afternoon All!

Chief was nice enough to do a fill video for us. It can be seen on our video page:

Video Library - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Tanks

Or below. We will be doing a few more videos over the weekend including a top fill video with syringe, a video showing where to punch, slot or drill your caps, as well as a video on how to change your carto without removing the juice from your tank.

Yeah, these tanks are durable. Seen that when I got it and how thick the pyrex tube is and then, I checked out some youtube vids. Which I was amazed on how much damage that they can take. I would hate to loose my REO's too and so I can understand that part.

Anyways, those CE2's you got sound nasty. Have never ran into primer that was that bad before and I wouldn't vape them neither if I had them. Can believe that boiling them didn't get rid of the primer. That must of been some really potent stuff. Do agree that if you should just send them to the troops if they aren't your cup of tea. They might be able to find a better use for them.

Same here. The REOs have spoiled me to anything but feeders. I carry only the Roughstack to the woods, to work, because I would "lose it if I lost a REO." I've had to use cartos with it and carry a bottle to top it because the tanks, I've been aware of, couldn't withstand the rigors of working in the woods. Now, I could get a plain shortie Phiniac, use a little 510 riser (to get to the tiny firing button on top), and be assured that the tank will survive! I started purchasing the CE2 cartos when some of the pre CE2s were being slipped in with the new ones at the China factory. My first two boxes were totally loaded and pouring out foul smelling "primmer." It smelled like rodent urine and most of the wicks were yellow to brown and stiff. Boiling them didn't even remove the smell. I did every mod possible, for months, and still couldn't get satisfaction. I "lived" on the CE2 modders thread for months. I just remembered another "better" carto tank I have to send to the troops. Guess I'd better pull some regular cartos out of stash to send, too.

Yeah, I'm always surprised how a tiny change in diameter means that the something has to be changed altogether. The Pyrex tubing you guys use are pretty thick and the diameter is going to be totally different from a plastic tube. So, I can see why there has to be some minor changes made in order for them to work. I'm sure you two will get it figured out in no time.

Washvape I am in bed on my laptop so I don't have the exact measurements in front of me. I know off hand the wall in the tinted glass is 4mm thick while our existing wall is 3.2. .8mm is not a very big measurement but enough to require a new cap.

Caps won't be here until we design and order them. As stated above, designing a cap for a glass tank is a bit of a larger task then for a plastic tank. We got very lucky as our tank was the same inside diameter as the M1A1 and Mike was nice enough to lend us his design schematics. Then we simply had to tweak it a bit to accommodate for the tolerances of glass and some of the things that happen when heating the tank. This time around we have nothing to cheat off of! It is just a matter of doing a little math and we plan to get it done earlier this coming week.

I am so slow....I just looked at the jars and OMG. I want JAR-009 or JAR 010 tear drop shape and JAR-005's base..........wow these are cool looking.....

I actually gave one to my daughter tonight and packaged one to send to my best friend tomorrow. They aren't selling :( so I decided to give some to family & friends.

That is a shame, they are really nice, I wonder if switching the cork to a ' long dropper inbedded in the cork' and then people would realize that they are not just pretty but that they also have a use for them.

like drill a hole in the center of the cork and insert a long pipette with a rubber thingy.

Most people lack imagination.........

In all reality they are heavy and cost too much to ship. I don't think we are going to put too much more focus into them if/when they sell out, we might throw a few more on.

I am however considering sand blasting shot glasses, beer mugs, tumblers and martini glasses once we get the hang of the sand blasting. And I don't even drink :p
