Well I gave a dual coil a try tonight and I have 2 tips.

1. Don't use your eGo battery to assemble the coils unless it is 5 clicked off, my thumb has a lovely zig zag on it now :D

2. Don't just go testing your creations out on your eGo battery all willy nilly, meter that thing FIRST. Just because it looks pretty that doesn't make it ideal LOL. Fried my second to last eGo battery :( took the RA off and it metered at 1.0ohm

I have a great double CE2 wick single running rock steady at 1.5ohm hitting like a truck on my last original eGo battery. I must ready more on these doubles before I try again...and get some better wick!

Copy that! I even metered the one it came with before I juiced it up. I didn't loosen the coils at all and just vaped it and it was fine. Started to make a low res coil for my e-pipe and realized I'm gonna need a magnifier to make it. I didn't raelize my eyes had gotten that bad. Luckily I have some magnifier glasses with variable lenses (somewhere). If a looser coil vapes even better then this it's gonna be great for a 3.7 volt e-pipe.

For those who are on the fence about purchasing one from vapor....., MOV will probably charge about $3 shipping and VB is $0. $1 difference. I just ordered one. :2cool:

I just got mine from VB yesterday and although it didn't come in a box (shipped in a bag), it did come with a drip tip, one premade coil installed on the atty and one coil in the bag. They also sell premade coils (with wicks) for cheap if you order 5. I also bought some extra wick, wire and SS mesh to play around with. Fast shipping for free from VB!

Already ruined mine :( . Tried to pull out a post with needle nose pliers because it was near impossible with how it was facing, and ended up crushing the top part to where there is no way to put the screw in.

I have been looking around for a replacement post ,since they mention in the how to videos that parts are available but no one carries them yet that I've found.

That sucks...you should be able to just wrap the wire around the post and that should work fine instead of screwing it down.

For future note...don't grip the post just get a small screw driver or needle and feed it through the posts hole and turn it to the spot you need it.

Has anyone figured out how to convert one to bottom feeding? mwa102464 says you just need to replace the center post on bottom with one that has a hole in it. Is that so?

Yeah, it can be done. I have not tried it yet because I have no bottom feeder so I can't walk you through it. Just be carefull not to mess anything up.

Get some sewing needles that you can thread your coil wire through the eye...break the eye part off so the hole will sit slightly above the rim of the bottom half of the atty. Stick the broken end in the crushed post and put a tiny bit of lead free solder to secure it. Then you can screw down your other side, feed the loose end through the needle and twist it off. Shoot I may just take my screws both out and do it, no need to keep my tiny screwdriver around anymore lol.

I've had it for about 2 hours. lol

I like it, the atty holds a good amount of liquid. I probably won't get around to making a new coil until tomorrow, though. I'll have more thoughts then.

Come on, bone here, if you overfill the reservoir, does it seep the main body threads at all? Leakage? Gurgly? Come on, carlton, give it up.

Been using mine all day. You can LITERALLY fill the reservoir, as long as you keep your PV completely upright if you do so. The wick pulls juice from the reservoir up to the wick similar to a CE2, but the flavor is great like an atomizer. Since the air hole is above the reservoir, there is no gurgling or anything, and no leaking at all.
