Hi PeacefulCloud,

PV masters, correct me if I'm wrong.

China makes lots of junk due to poor quality control. But your iPhone or most of it is made in China.

China invented e-cigs and Ruyan was the first company that sold it. There are now lots of Chinese manufacturers and almost all e-cigs are made in China, still! US firms either sell them as is or put their own brands on them.

Dekang (YNDK, Boge/Dekang) in China is the world's largest e-juice manufacturer, ISO 9000 compliant, which is not so easy to qualify for. I used to think US juice ought to be higher quality, not anymore. I've tried many online US juice vendors, most small outfits, and have gotten some crappy stuff. Even when I ordered "Dekang" juice from some sites (US and in China) who swear it's genuine, it's not the REAL thing. It got me thinking. What am I vaping? Can anyone mix juices in their garage and put up a site? What US standards are being used? I don't know. Now, I'm buying directly from Dekang in China.

Taste is very, very personal, so it depends on where you can get your favorite flavors. But beware of the juice quality. Hardware is easier, not much choice there.

Hope this helps. :)

Juice FOE who knows what is in the water there........ As far as hardware both..... Most is made in china know way around that unfortunately..... The problem being when a new product comes out that is good it is quickly copy catted and often times inferior.... Soon the market gets cluttered with some many variations of the same thing making it difficult at times to be sure of what you are getting.... Take the eGo for instance by joye there are more versions of it than you can shake a stick at. Some are real eGos just labeled with a different name for a vendor and some are outright copies that may or may not be the same quality. I saw a vid on You tube forget the name but he is a member here took apart a Riva battery and an eGo. his findings the riva had all Joye inards name and everything.... Leads too to much confusion. Thus resulting in redundant threads on the same thing in a lot of forums.... Typical new thread is "I'm a newbie will ______ work with ______".... Best bet do homework, read reviews, and come here and ask questions....

Wherever in the world you go, there will always be people who are displeased that Thing X is made in geographic region/country/river valley Y, or by Tribe Z, and it's always been like that. That gets into belief, with which you can't argue.

Personally, I've always enjoyed having things that came from all around the world!

It took a lot of continents to make me, so naturally it takes a lot of them to keep me in stuff.

My e-cigarette and lots of other people and things I see just looking around me right now came from China and I like them all!

I LOVE the idea that people are starting small businesses here and are becoming so successful. The customer support, the willingness to go the extra mile is really amazing. I wish every business was run the way the ecig suppliers run their businesses. To me, it's been a pretty fun thing to watch. I'm happy for their success.

Where they get their supplies and juice, I assume some part or all of it comes from China. I'm pretty grateful to the Chinese for this. They invented the ecig. The ECF vendors from China get great reviews. They didn't back down and cave under FDA pressure. I think we're in this together.

Order from them, order from here, it's all good- just keep vaping!

I think what some people are saying is to avoid buying directly from China because it can take a long time to arrive and if there is a problem, it is a hassle to return things bought from China.

As for e-Liquids. Taste is Very Subjective. I happen to abhor Dekang e-Liquids. But that is just me. You might love them. And having your e-Liquid sit in a shipping container for 3 weeks as it crosses the ocean should reduce the "steeping" time. ;)

There are a few people on this forum who are just plain prejuidice against China, unfortunately. There have been many health scares about products made in the US as well but that does not deter us from buying from US producers.

My experience (as well as the vast majority on vaping forums), has been extremely positive with the suppliers I have delt with from China. Both BestEcigs and Heaven Gifts have been outstanding. In fact, their customer service exceeds almost all of the US suppliers I have delt with. I buy atomizers, cartomizers and liquid from China and rarely have a problem.

Almost everything comes from China anyway. The only bad thing about getting stuff from China is that it takes SOO long for it to get here.

I think what some people are saying is to avoid buying directly from China because it can take a long time to arrive and if there is a problem, it is a hassle to return things bought from China.

My orders from China arrive on average in 5 days from the day I place the order until it is delivered to my door. I have received several packages in 4 days. So there is nothing slow about it.

And the few times I have had a problem, they NEVER ask me to return anything. They either send me a replacement or refund my money, which ever I prefer. Please tell me what US company does that?

Plus they warrant their atomziers for 6 months, no questions asked. What US supplier does that? Very few, if any.

And the cost savings, even with the increased shipping cost, is substantially less than any US supplier. I get 801 atomizers (DSE or BE112's) for $3.95 each. With shipping, it comes to $5.24 each.

I also order from US suppliers and have been overall pleased with their performance.

It's amazing the amount of inaccurate information that floats around.

So far the best companies I've dealt with in China are BestEcig and Heavens Gifts, haven't had any problem with either of them. The only thing is if you order from China use the EMS shipping, everything else real slow.

I've only used DHL from china a little more expensive but got my stuff in like 4 days

Maybe you get your stuff in 4 days. Not say'n that you don't.

What type of shipping option your are choosing and how much you are paying for it?

I have ordered a few times from China and 4 days is amazing. Do live on the West Coast? My orders always seem to land in Anchorage, Alaska and take 2 or 3 days to go 1,000 mile hops from one terminal to another until they reach the east coast.
