I would run away from that. I had a pumpkin spice from ..........s a while back that tasted like what you're describing. I'd drive to the next county, crack the bottle and that should flavor your mix enough. Disasters? I always have several in the offing. The one that's annoying me tonight is I had a perfectly good smooth tobacco mix from VaporShots going. Genius over here decided to put brown sugar in it. Only a couple % but now it's become cloying and vaguely disgusting. Then there are my recent experiments with the TFA cherries. Not the stuff of legends! And we could discuss my coffee extracts which were merely sub-optimal until I decided to combine them with my TFA cherry experiments. I went back to single fruit flavor and sweet cream mixes this weekend just because I couldn't muck those up! :D

tobacco came out good after all! Threw some raspberry and tea in there and it's rough but vapable. I think it'll be good with some tweaking.

One of the recipes I wrote down called for 1.1% Dark Chocolate, which is simple enough. In a ten ml batch, that means .11mls, which is easy enough to measure out on a 1ml syringe. Well, I ended up adding 1.1mls which equates to 11%. Needless to say, the batch turned pretty much completely black and the thing smells of bitterness/chocolateyness. I'm still going to vape it though, for experiment's sake.

Uncap the flavoring bottle and blow across the top of it into the mix bottle?

Ha Ha that's funny. I have 2 flavors I took the caps off and smelled them. Then had to sit down until my head cleared. I'm still working up the nerve to try to do somthing with them. I think .0000001ml may be safe to start with. the flavors were TFA's Mocha and Tiramisu

TFA Black Tea smells really bad as well. I forgot about the TFA Black Tea disaster

For the love of Folgers....please someone, anyone provide me with a coffee DIY, something that doesn't taste burnt after 3 vapes. Could care less if it's a strong, sweet, borderline anything coffee related.

Been DIYing for some time, easy-peasy with any fruit ejuice, sweets, and learnt how to handle tobacco, but coffee has been my vaping epic fail.

I'm terrible at getting on the computer and ordering my flavors drunk ..:toast:
So with that being said I tend to leave out some basic flavors and order wildly, in the end I have to improvise
no real failures in my recent mixes....
but is TFA vanilla bourbon supposed to be pitch black?
as well as LA Butterscotch seems to be the same color.
Also cant seem to get a hand on RY4 double TFA

My recent failure came in the form of one of my favorites to mix..... I apparently over steeped my mango and now it is dry and stale... still trying to find some info on if I can save it or if I just need to scrap it.....

How log did you steep it. I've never herd of over steeping.

Sounds like a sweet flavor faded too much, you have anything that fades like a cream in there or is it pure mango?

I had many failed attempts at coffee DIY, but finally got something vapable when I used this method.

Before I found this method, I had batches you couldn't taste coffee in, others that tasted like ashes, I even ruined a few attys in the quest.

I bought two beautiful Triton batteries from Halo, and did NOT read the fine print, FAQ about the fact that you will kill/melt/break these if you use a regular charger with it that is NOT from HALO speccifically for the Triton.

Broke my heart, and it was MY bad...already got my replacement, had to pay for it again, but on the up side, I found someone who wanted the broken ones, so we did a little trade. :)

Was reaching for the sweetener and grabbed the menthol.....umm made my killavanilla clone attempt a little different lol

At least you did'nt do what I did on my first attempt at methol. I was very new to DYI and guessed at how much to use so I made a 5ml batch and started counting methol drops 1,2,3......9,10 and though that should be enough. Well I said to myself after trying it as I was flat on my back, eyes in a fog as I was waiting for the frosty mist to clear "I think I added a little to much!!!".

 I did the same thing with Koolada, Danny, I felt like I had walked outside in subzero temps! It was scary for a minute. I remember pouring that out and starting over.

I'm still testing that coffee mistake from the beginning of this thread, still tastes like cloves. Maybe I found a real easy clove cig recipe!
