Pod Mods: Which One Are You Liking the Most?

Has this been discussed before? I have a juul and installed a new pod. It ok for the first puff but then goes limp. I take the pod out put it back in and it's ok for the first two puffs. Then bad. Take it out put it back in and ok for the next two. Why?

That happens a lot when I refill my own pods.

I fixed mine by giving the pod a better connection. Just pull out the little connection tabs a bit. See if that works.

ok......I also have the icare mini so I really want to hear about peeps who have the VS minnow. Does it take the same atty as the icare?

hummm...every time i pull the pod out i see an air bubble go to the top. I think that is why it's ok then. 2 puffs later...bad...pull it out...air bubble and then good.

Is it the total vape that is weak, or is it that the flavor just drops off and just doesn't taste right? Also, do you have the diamond ("Marlboro" pyramid) JUUL or the octagonal JUUL?

I didn't know there are different models. Mine is more of a hexagonal shape.

Yep, that's the one. I forgot how many sides (wasn't looking).

Old

Some people like the old ones better. The new ones have the spitback protection (the cotton lining). The old ones have a slightly tighter draw (IME), but they leak more. I thought if you had the old ones, maybe the pods were leaking and causing issues.

Its a wicking issue, common fault. The Juul has TC, so when it goes dry, power drops off.

Vic Mullen has the BO and mentioned on his vlog that its reasonably easy to refill. He seemed quite impressed with it too.

Ive order one, no idea whens its coming though.

Oh really? I'll need to check that out. I guess I didn't investigate removing the top enough. I was all about the bottom, but if it's like the juul, which it honestly looks like it is, it may be a topfill thing. I've got a set of pods hopefully arriving tomorrow now that they're finally appearing in the UK (vapeclub and prohibitionvapes). I'll give it a shot from that end and see if i can get it apart neatly.

edit: just went ahead and watched his vid like a non lazy person. Even more excited for my pods to arrive tomorrow. Gonna blast one empty and fill it up with some heisenberg 12mg. unf. yes.

Yes. It is an iCare with a split second quicker ramp (quikcer resoonise), a slightly larger capacity (+0.2 mL), three differernt mouth pieces and... it vapes better than the iCare, but not by a lot. Vaping them side by side (with my eyes closed), it's negligible but noticeable if you strain your brain. LOL

The new coils have larger wick ports, so it should (in theory) do better with high VG.

The EXACT same refill system.

Oh... and the Minnow is manufactured by Wismec. Figures.
