Two Iffy check list items completed today.
Today, outta da blue, my son-in-law with the anticipated Odyssey docking asked if he could park his travel trailer in my side yard while his house extension construction is completed. Not only yes, but he!! yes! "Oh, BTW son, how 'bout a week at your dock?" "No problem!"
Ergo, we have a mooring and trailer parking space for Susan & Greg's vessel! Sunshine Skyway here we come...

Most all the planning is done for now, so this thread isn't gonna have much posting, unless someone needs to wiggle, giggle and wahoooooooo or there is some sort of news. If you are planning to go, PM Seapeach and she will send you the paypal email, or her address for you to send a check. She prefers checks over money orders because she has no bank branches near her and with a check she can deposit it with her phone. Paypal is fine if you can't do a check. The amount is 185.00 per person for the week. Some are sending an even 200.00 and any leftover is going into the grocery budget, and for gas for the boat!
Yes I said Boat!!! Susan and her hubby have a 23 foot boat that we'll be able to moor near the house, not right at it, so we can do fishing and take boat rides!!! Thanks to Iffy and his son for help with that!
The first deposit has been paid, so we can start sending money to Susan to pay her back for deposit that she put on her CC. Payments can be made if you can't pay the whole thing at one time. If you send the money by paypal, make sure you send it as a gift please. This means using the "send to friends and family option"
As Yiddle posted, we do have room for a few extra folks if you aren't already on the confirmed list, don't think it's too late for you to get on there!! We also have plenty of folks who can pick people up from the airport!! Can't wait to see everyone!!!

no one is talking about shutting it down.......kay mentioned there hadn't been much activity, and I just said there may not be a lot of activity unless there is news. I do wish we could have one that one person could lock or unlock just to be able to post news only with no chit chat so all relevant information could be easily found, but oh well.

1. Does she prefer check over Paypal. We can do either.
2. Are we sending the full amount now, or enough to cover the downpayment. Either way is OK w/ me.
