Ok, I'm not sure about this. If those in the industry are going to claim user error is possible, when a battery explodes, you better be extremely clear to educate the users on the risks associated with charging, especially in a car. In the B&M interviewed, they claim to educate on battery safety. AS an industry as a whole, not so sure. Plenty of online marketers not only fail do note battery hazards CLEARLY on their sites, but plenty sell car chargers. I'm sure a new user purchases these products with a level of IMPLIED safety. Sorry for the mini rant! Just think we can improve in this area.

Not sure I understand the car charger issue. Don’t these devices regulate their output to 5V? I have a car charger that was sold specifically for e-vape devices. It even has the Volt brand name on the front. I use it a lot with no problems.

BTW, I really like the phrase e-vape device that they used in this article. It sounds a lot better than e-cig.
