Proposed: that ECF establish a "Liars Hall of Shame" board, where every public official who commits egregious acts of anti-THR untruthiness can be immortalized with his or her own personal sticky thread. Mr. Allan can be one of the inaugural inductees. Stan Glantz and Margaret Hamburg, obviously, will require their own sub-boards.

I believe it has been attempted at least a couple of times, both on this forum, and on other vaping sites.
It apparently has not caught on yet.

Nice idea... I don't see it happening though; or at least not until we upgrade the forum (which is not imminent). Maybe start an ANTZ Farm social group?

Nice idea... I don't see it happening though; or at least not until we upgrade the forum (which is not imminent).

If and when it does become imminent, I'll volunteer to manage it.

It might sound like a mostly fun/frivolous thing (and it would obviously have some value as such), but I do think it would be useful and productive if there was a more centralized repository for identifying the most brazen liars and publicly shaming them. "Here are this month's worst liars, here's what they said, here are their email addresses, Twitter feeds, Facebook pages, etc." If we're serious about going on the offensive, and doing it as aggressively as possible, I could see it being a valuable tool toward that end.

Especially tweeting it. What if it was some form of "top list"? Usually those are used to promote websites, but I could see software like that being used for this purpose.

You assume, of course, that these people are capable of shame and humiliation. I have a feeling that ANTZ are immune to such and would only see this effort of being identified by "the enemy" as a badge of honor.

They're accustomed to living in a world where they can lie with impunity and never face any consequences. That must change.

I'm a "twenty-something" and I really don't care for social media. That said, I will start a Twitter account just to join in the fun. I've never been able to participate the General Vaping Discussion mini CTA's that are tweet based, and that's going to change.

Dr. Ross on the other hand talks about what is possible due to e-cigarettes and his disbelief of the way "public health" is treating a device that many experts in tobacco control believe present the best hope of improving the unacceptably low rate of successful quitting among addicted smokers.
