Kat keeps saying "an hour". IDK how to do that unless it's hour before, and hour after. Then, does that mean we'd have to have it staffed for two hours?

1/2 hour on both sides doesn't work... if they are not logged in and are 1 minute late, they won't turn for another hour, as we all know.

So...Kat, any ideas?

Saying at their turning doesn't solve the "1 minute late" thing. Or maybe it does... that's a "no"? But then, CES says "but they can reschedule", then Atty says "Yeah, as long as they don't turn in between... otherwise they are no longer a pre-vet".

And Kat isn't here to respond so....I'll edit to "at their turning" and repost. She can still comment.

This means that if they have to leave for work or something they should have rescheduled it ahead of time... because posting an hour before their turning (saying "hi") and then bailing out or doing other stuff elsewhere on ECF and turning sometime when we don't see it and they don't participate in the PVT postings at their turning time..... no entry.

No, I thought we really needed some time frame for the times when we're not there--solo turnings.

When we're there, just "present at the turning" should suffice, methinks....

aha! but we hope to avoid that by rescheduling ..... because that wouldn't be much of a turning

yes, atty! they can't be late - they had the chance to reschedule if the timing was bad!

Yes, they really need to post before and after. I don't so much care about the time frame. But I don't want them arriving an hour late and claiming that they've been present. I mean, we agreed that it's gravy and they have two other contests they are eligible for... I don't like sending PMs, looking for them online, dragging them into the thread or waiting for them to show up.

i surely did - but i think we got it - the least restrictions but they have to be with us when they turn, to be explained in a pm. they can slide in the last moment if needed as long as they can get a post in .....

They sure can--as long as they post prior to and post turning...
