I haven't chimed in much in this thread, but to me, this looks like the perfect mod. My complaints about PVs:

- Button issues. Well, this has the Precise rhodium-plated button, which I'm used to on my P+500, so I know button operation will be flawless.

- Fixed size. I have many batteries in many sizes. Different situations call for different PV sizes and I would like to have access to all of my batteries. This mod obviously allows for that.

- Connector issues. I use exclusively rebuildable attys, and they all seem to have different connector lengths. I've had to modify several to get them to work on my P+500. Not a huge deal, but it sure will be nice to have an adjustable center pin, especially one that I'm sure will be rock solid and won't crush an atty connector.

- Lack of Durability. I've broken just about every non-mechanical PV I've owned (and a few mechanical ones as well). Durability certainly isn't an issue with my P+ and obviously won't be with this mod either.

And on top of all that, the thing just looks damn cool, especially with the accent rings. I'm thinking of getting some extras and looking into various powder-coating options.

I'm really excited about this one . . . .

it looks nice

but until now i did not figure out how does the telescopic works

I dont think anyone but David knows the specifics, but he does say that it utilizes a positive locking system, which seems to be some type of protrusion that locks it into place, so you just slide the tube over the battery till it stops and the turn to tighten or lock into place. I am curious to see how it works as well.

Thanks and cant wait to see the proud owners posting their picts as they come in in a few weeks. I too will hopefully be able to post my picts as a proud owner too.

Thank you anavidfan, i'm looking forward to seeing some nice pics from their new owners!

Wow this looks great, 24mm on top though means I have no atty that would fit flush :(
If it was slanted to 22mm I would have ordered one of these in a flash. I bet it would look great slanted with a foggatti Type 22.

We'll be producing a flush, integrated feeder/rba for it, so no worries :)

David, do the AW Protected batteries on your site fit ELA?
More specifically, the largest 3100mAh protected battery, but also those of smaller capacity.
Second, when do you suppose that you'll be able to sell the DNA 20 module?
Finally, will there be a "stealthy" atty available so that I can make my ELA as short as possible when using the DNA 20 module and the, for example, 18350 battery? Maybe a shorter version of the Strata or something similar? I am thinking of buying the foggatti and the smaller tank for it, but as experience has taught me, super-t tends to come up with the sort of thing I am looking for just when I'm thinking about buying a similar product from a different vendor. Right now I have decided to wait, but I'd like to know roughly what my options will be.

Yes, any 18650 battery will fit. the 2600mAh AW outperforms the AW 3100mah in load testing them (higher useable mAh under load and holds higher load under voltage). Not sure on the stealthy, do you mean a drip only version?

I just want an atty that will sit flush on top of the ELA and to be of the same diameter. If I put the DNA 20 top cap on the ELA, I assume I won't be able to use neither the drip only version nor the integrated RBA since all three replace the top cap, if I got that correctly. Therefore I was wondering whether there will be a different atty option which would fit the ELA for those who wish to have the DNA 20 integrated top cap module instead of the other add-ons?
P.S. Interesting facts about the batteries since they are from the same vendor. Thanks for the info
P.S.P.S. Forget about the stealthiness. I just want an atty made for the ELA

Hello forcedfuel50, I was wondering if I placed an order in the next few days, how long do you think it will be till I get mine? I know this pre-sale started a while ago so I was wondering an approximate time from now. Im reaal close to ordering one. Just one question, and its not deal breaker, but how well does it stand up if placed on a table top. I know some people have mentioned that was one of the only things that they didnt use theirs as often as they would want. Again, these were people that had Genesis type atomizers on theirs. I would be using my Ody so leaking is not a problem at all. I just dont want to have it toppling over and getting all scratched up too soon. I actually like the look of a well loved stainless steel PV.

A universal 510 style feeder/rba could go on top of the DNA20 accessory. The first feeder i make for the ELA though will not be a universal fit, it will be a fully integrated feeder/rba that replaces your existing top cap.

With a tapered bottom, its not a stand up friendly PV. Still on schedule for the 6-8 week time frame, so later in January i estimate. Our machine is on its way now (as in literally on the Semi Truck coming from CA) and it will be installed on Thursday. Give a few days to figure out what tooling we need, we should be running parts within a week of it coming in.
