Awaiting funds to load into my "fun money" account and will then be placing an order. I am so excited! It sounds like this will be the perfect new platform for future developments as well. The DNA20 option was what sealed the deal for me. Still curious as to how that will work with the side button board vs. a bottom button mod. Anyway....

I am ready to do this! Thanks David!

im so close to ordering, but was wondering if there was a coupon?:) The only thing Ive bought before was some drip tips and the kicklet but decided against it at the time. Thanks, sooooo close to pressing the button. Just did a search and found there isnt one, no problem. Just wanted to make sure.

Well, I'm thinking it might be pretty simple, really. I don't know much about the DNA20 as of yet, but theoretically I guess it could be done just by shorting the button connection on the board itself to make it "always on", thus relying on the mechanical button to complete the circuit

Regardless, I'm very much looking forward to this device on many levels :)

Or perhaps it would just need a replacement bottom cap (no button). :)

I just thought of something that might make Precise/ ELA owners happy in regards to the "stand up-abilty" of these. After you get most of your projects done, how about a cool , Super-T PV stand, nothing large or for storing, something that one could take with them that is circuthat the PV can slip into, maybe a bit wider than the bottom, but heavy enough to slip the units in when one is at work, or at home while enjoy activities. Or even a nice stainless steel carry case that has a sort of "cup" holder for the units., Just a thought

I like this idea. I generally don't have any issues standing up my 500. It's not super-steady, but it can be stood up without too much difficulty. I would think the ELA would be similar. Regardless, I would be in for a purpose-built stand.

With regards to the DNA, simply unscrew the bottom button and replace with a flat cap (the DNA module will come with one), remove existing top cap and screw on DNA Module.

So sweet! I think that is the perfect solution and provides a whole new dimension to the ELA.

With the ability to quickly change battery sizes, cover the gap with accent pieces, have add on "hybrid" style RBA's. Adjustable draw, flush atty's with adjustable center pin. Oh yeah, and the Super T warranty? A no-brainer for me!

I'm all in on the polished brass accent version! It'll look awesome!!!!

Yes. As I understand there is a threaded accent that's always on the bottom just above the switch. No accent in 18350 mode. The non-threaded is used for the 18500 mode and gives a seamless look. Currently the 18650 mode would show some of the telescoping inner tube. Unless David makes an 18650 accent ring as well, which I think he already mentioned as a possibility.
