With a tapered bottom, its not a stand up friendly PV.
does it basiclly have the same bottom as the p+? My p+ stand up but you have to be careful with them, so im hoping this will stand up the same way,

It's kind of hard to tell - does the button assembly unscrew like a Precise?Yes, same button![]()
The DNA20 option was what sealed the deal for me. Still curious as to how that will work with the side button board vs. a bottom button mod. Anyway....
Integrated DNA 20 Watt with display good too![]()
Well, I'm thinking it might be pretty simple, really. I don't know much about the DNA20 as of yet, but theoretically I guess it could be done just by shorting the button connection on the board itself to make it "always on", thus relying on the mechanical button to complete the circuit
Regardless, I'm very much looking forward to this device on many levels![]()
I just thought of something that might make Precise/ ELA owners happy in regards to the "stand up-abilty" of these. After you get most of your projects done, how about a cool , Super-T PV stand, nothing large or for storing, something that one could take with them that is circuthat the PV can slip into, maybe a bit wider than the bottom, but heavy enough to slip the units in when one is at work, or at home while enjoy activities. Or even a nice stainless steel carry case that has a sort of "cup" holder for the units., Just a thought

With regards to the DNA, simply unscrew the bottom button and replace with a flat cap (the DNA module will come with one), remove existing top cap and screw on DNA Module.
