You mean this toy that arrived this morning?!! (We have an automatic Bar feeder for it too, its about 8 feet long and feeds bar in from the access door seen on the left of the machine(a shockwave is sitting above it), but it won't be in for approx. another week). I'll post up a Vid of it in action once its all up and running! Hope to be Running some Precise ELA parts by later next week!!!!

This is a Haas ST10Y, with Live Tooling (powered tooling for those who don't know) and Y axis, for off center milling, drilling tapping etc. It also has a parts catcher, tool presetter and Chip conveyer, that with the Bar feeder, means we'll have fully automated production!

This is a big win for both Super T and the customer alike as it will virtually eliminate out of stocks, allow us to manufacture many more products (and take on outside machining jobs too) and most importantly, allow us to take new products from conception to prototype to full production in only a matter of days! We'll also be getting in a CNC Milling Center too around spring time which will allow us to do even more complex 3D milling operations. Lots of exciting products will be rolling out of Super T soon, so stay tuned!!

I'm very excited for you folks. This is a classic example of the result of when one keeps thinking different!

PS - David, was I correct with the naming of this mod?

WOW,, Major commitment David, and a super nice machine at that, this should seriously put you at the forefront and not having to depend on anyone else is a super good feeling my man. Congrats & Good luck with that beautiful new machine !

The not having to depend on anyone else is one of the biggest benefits. We were seeing wait times of several months at the local machine shops, plus they didn't want to take on any new projects. With the speed and features of this machine it'll have the production capacity to do all our parts, plus any other outside machining work we take on.

There wasn't enough snow to fire up the snowblower. I only use it if there's more than 4 inches on the ground. Hand shoveling is good exercise anyway. Thank-you for fixing my snowblower, though. You know I appreciate it. This is Minnesota. The best is yet to come. More snow...Ugh. The snowblower will get a lot of use this winter.

Just finished reading through all 15 pages if this thread. Congrats on the new piece of equipment David! Thats pretty exciting and it looks awesome!

I've been reasonably happy with my current vape gear and haven't ordered anything new in quite some time. Seeing the video of the ELA and hearing about the DNA20 add-on pretty much made my mind up. I ordered mine today with all the extras and can't wait until its in my hands!

Thanks for the constant innovation!

Ditto on that. A bit late to the party, but this thing looks beautiful (and probably even more beautiful with brass, amiright?). I'd been looking for a good telescoping mod and the ELA sort of blew my expectations and my entire wish list out of the water. Can't wait!

I just wanted to raise a quick question or two regarding the Feeder/RBA for the ELA.

Will this RBA module be of the Genesis (SS mesh) type?

What sort of juice capacity do you estimate it will hold (assuming its a tank)?

EDIT: These questions are merely for planning purposes and not to dig too deep on your design ideas. :)

I'm already torn between using the RBA and the DNA 20 module, since it's an either/or choice :(

Well, as I understand it, these modules will be made to screw into the threads where the original top cap would be. I'm assuming there may be a "daisy-chain" type of setup.

If it is limited by the choice of either the Feeder/RBA or the DNA 20D module, I would choose the DNA 20D module.

David, can you confirm this?
