Possible chance you could show a polished Ela vs a satin Ela?

Yes!! Please let us see a pic of the Satin ELA and a Polished ELA side by side!! I ordered the Satin ELA because Ilove the look of the P Plus in Satin!!

Excellent request, but I agree w/David - he needs to use his camera

Actually, what he needs is more time in a day. David is up to his eyeballs in prep work and Shockwaves that absolutely need to go out to customers. Apologies to everyone, but better photos will have to wait for now.

Not a problem waiting for comparassion photos, I have to sell several things before I can jump on board anyway, so no hurry here. :)

if you like what you are using, no need to upgrade. get used to ELA and then upgrade if you feel you are not satisfied. Is there something about the T2s you are not satisfied with? Let us know , then we can guide you into something you will like because this kinda questions might get you so many personal suggestions that you might get confused or get into spending too much for something that you might not be ready for or really need. :)

well, i just put in my order for one of these, now i just got to figure out what i am going to put on "top" of it. Any suggestions?(links would be nice) i am kinda new to this so go easy on me please. Right now, all i have/use is a twist with T2's.

Wiz, I'm actually jealous of you. On your first "hunt" you have already acquired something that took me 2 years of waiting. I have never, even during the current batch of new telescopic batteries (69, Roller, Gus...) been as excited as I am about a product such as the ELA PV.
David has kept the simplicity legacy of his previous designs and brought a beast of a PV to the current market. Other designs, current ones, to escape the parameters of normality are adding complexities to something that should be simple. Top buttons designs that resemble a Swiss watch internally. All this in a purely MECHANICAL mod. More things and more parts to worry about. Not for me, I pass.

I can GUARANTEE you that as I customer of David (Super-T Manufacturer) you got yourself a PV that will last a long freaking time, and on top of that, just by using toilet paper to clean it; I repeat : toilet paper to clean the joint threads and the atomizer connector, you will have your ELA hitting as hard as day one in a year from now. I know that to be a fact because that's exactly how I have been cleaning my P+ for a whole year and it hits better than any of my purely brass contact mods with the same age.

Well, I hope that my fanboism excitement hasn't scared you :). As anavidfan has put it, we are here to help. We got a lot of good peeps in this sub. Sometimes we are quiet, very quiet, but we lurk and watch (watch for Snork though, dude is always around :) ).

So.....I bid you welcome and shoot questions anytime you have them. If not one of us, either David and his mom Susan (LadyMama) show up frequently.

You take care, Wiz. Wish you the best.

I think I finally made up my mind which finish I choose, I say that now but I can be swayed very easily. Halfway there selling enough items to get me close enough to the purchase price. I just have a few questions.

The accent rings, is that a set of two? If not, do we specify which rings we want in the order? Also I read where the rings can be used in 18650 mod as a sleeve, will 2 rings cover the entire gap? If not how many would it take?

Thank you in advance! :)

Good morning Freckle!

The Accent rings are for two, one front one and one rear one (the rear one is different then the front and threaded and screws on the back half, so it won't go on the front).

Morning back to you! Thank you for the quick response.

I may have been mistaken, but I thought I read where the accent rings could be used in the 18650 mod where the ext or shall I call it a gap is. Did I misunderstand that?

to answer the question: "Is there something about the T2s you are not satisfied with?"

I do like the T2's but i can't help to think that their is something out there that is much better then a T2? I am wrong in thinking that? Again, i don't know IF there IS something better as I haven't tried anything else but. I do have a vivi nova coming in today so i will be giving that a shot shortly

I don't think i am into the "dripping" part of things as i can see myself dropping a few drops, taking a few toots then repeat the process throughout the day. I do love the concept of feeling a few tanks with different flavors and swapping them out as i feel like. This is what i am doing with the T2's right now, i have 4 of them with different juices and i change them throughout the course of the day.

I do know what you are saying about "get used to the ELA and then upgrade" which is what i will more than likely be doing. Thanks for that advice.

I recently tried an iclear. It wasn't bad at all. I am not big into tanks or into the clearos, but a friend she is major into the clearos. She said she really liked the iclears and they may be her new thing. They are very reasonably priced.

Though to answer your concern about if there is anything better than a T2. That answer in my opinion would be, of course. I always say you have to find what you like. Everyone is going to like different things so you may get 10 different suggestions. Don't be afraid to try different options.

My thing is RBA's. I don't like gennies, but only cause I do not like tanks. I am a dripper and a sucker for a good rba. When I first thought about dripping I was like you, the thought of a few drops every few minutes bugged me. Most dripping set ups allow more than just a few drops, so it does last longer than just a hit or two.

>>Yes, that is what i was afraid of, but i have to say that I am not afraid to try anything once, problem with that is that you have to spend $ for a one time use, i guess that's OK if you end up liking it, if not then it ends up being a waste of $ might be the price to pay i guess.

A good PV/ Mod is a good start but what is on top of it is the most important part of it all. If you like simplicity than you cant go wrong with a good cartomizer in a good tank. One of the easiest, most satisfying methods. A good tank to try is the IBTanked carto tanks. They are reasonably priced great quality pyrex tanks that can handle any juice with no fear of hazing or cracking. They have 19mm diameters that hold about 2.5 ml and they have the 22mm size that holds over 5mls. They are simple and elegant. IF you want to try something a bit more advanced in the future with the tanks you can try one of the Killer RA. It is a small rebuildable , cartomizer sized atty that you can simply buy replacement pre-made heads or you can rebuild it yourself.

The Vivi Nova is one of those items that if they work out of the box you are lucky. For most it does. Again, its as simple as you like, you can buy replacement heads or rebuild them. The VN can sometimes be uncooperative and you have to modify some things to get them to work optimally. Read all the threads in the tank forum and the Rebuildable forum.

There are some new RA that use silica such as the Drunker Tank, The Aga_T that can be used with ss mesh or with silica that some say is easier and more reliable than the VN. Looks nice and you have a clear tank. I found the Odysseus which I love for its performance, build and ease of set up. There is now the Terminator, which is a clone of the Odysseus.

Like Freckle said, different strokes for different folks. If you like to enjoy a few puffs occasionally and are a "pipe" smoker type a good dripper will give you great performance and taste. If you are a heavy vapor that a tank system will be more satisfying. If you like strong taste and throat hit than a genesis type would be great. Fortunately there are a lot of good lower priced options to the high priced atomizers out there and you can experiment. If you find something that interests you let us know and we can share how they worked out for us. SOme are easy and some more complicated to set up, but its the taste in the end that makes all of it worth it.

Stay vapy my friend.......:) It is possible to get form and function so you can have an atomizer that completes that beautiful ELA you are going to get. I cant wait to marry my beautiful atomizers and tanks to my ELA.

Well the rba I am using I wouldn't suggest for a begginer, I may say go with an igo-l to start out. They aren't extremely expensive and they are easy to set up, even with a mesh silica mix. You can get an igo-l shipped to you for about 15 to 20.

I personally look forward to see what David is brewing for an RBA. Some may like the dna20, but for me I am just fine with a nice mechanical mod large battery and a nice built rba. :)

Id love to see what this looks like with a nice tank on it, or the cobra for that matter, but i really like what im seeing with this so there is a good chance ill be preordering this very soon. This is honestly one of the first if only telescoping mods i have seen that i really like the asthetics of. Looks stunning in the photos.
