Update: Where i sit now, my goal was to have first batch shipped by weeks end, but that isn't going to happen. Just spent an hour on ONE unit assembling it. First the telescoping tube was catching, then i got that fixed and then it would fire when standing up, so repalce the main tube, then the cap, then the accent ring, then the switch...grr. I know you may dislike me for this, but these don't go together like a normal mod, each one takes mega time to fit, finish and assemble. It's just the way it is. I'm going to have to push it back a week on my first batch completion estimate.

They'll only be ...... short term.... when they get 'em in their hands, they'll surely appreciate the effort.

And thats the reason Super-T has its great reputation. I know like David said, that might make some unhappy, but those are same people that would be ...... if they got that one that was not "perfect"

If the only thing hold one of 'em up the the fact that it fires when standing up, send it to me (assuming it's a satin model)... That's I set my P+s up and I plan on doing the same with my ELA.

If David is assigning his reputation to each of his products, I doubt he'll cut any corners even upon customer request. What if you weren't happy with the half-assery? You might put your buggy ELA on the classifieds. The recipient would likewise be disappointed and might assume that the faulty device is representative of David's typical work. Then he repeats the classifieds cycle. No, just be patient and your Hattori Hanzo will arrive soon enough.

I was anticipating getting mine this week as well, but given the choice between quick and quality, I choose quality. Order 15185 here, the tail end of the first batch.

No worries, David, and no need to apologize.

Your noted example speaks volumes about your dedication and commitment to afford the best possible product to the Vaping Community. Knowing that, I knew what I was getting myself into.

I am sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I will be damned if I can find the answer. By what date (very rough approximation) is the second batch expected (in its entirety) to have shipped?

I know no one knows exactly so But any kind of estimate is appreciated

June 31st, 6:32:04 am pacific standard time. Fellow NYer, if he had an idea he'd post it I'm sure. Be easy my neezy it will come and it will be worth it :).

Batch 1 will have taken about a month to ship from start to finish, and batch 2 is similar size. I'd guess parts will finish getting machined by the end of the month, then assembly and shipping of the dregs of batch 2 by the end of July. That's my guess, anyway.

Awww this explains why there has been no movement since receiving tracking! No worries here, I rather you take your time and get it right now instead of me getting it and finding out I need to send it back.

Oh and I still haven't sent the kicklet cap back, I was kinda waiting till I got the ELA, just to kinda make sure. :)

As for me, that makes the wait MUCH easier to bear. Thanks for all of your hard work, Dave!

Many thanks for the update, Dave. Good quality control means a lot to me, and knowing what's going on rather than guessing makes waiting so much easier.

I'm one of the last of batch 1 (like 40 #'s from the cutoff), so I was expecting the wait, and I'm content now knowing its being handled professionally.
