I'm an extremely compulsive buyer.

Pair that with the "gotta get it now" mentality that vape gear seems to bring with it for some reason, and I have had to talk myself out of buying at least 4-5 different mods since I pre-ordered the ELA.

Thank you, David. For giving me a reason to not compulsively spend my money on stuff I wont even use once my ELA gets here.

Lol...i did the reverse...i went and bought 5 more mods and 2 highend attys after i preordered the ELA.

i ordered these, if someone needs a few pm me and i can send u some for cost and shipping
This is the gauge I got. Same as Cloud 9

PS. These are priced a bit higher on Cloud 9, but it's a niche item so I think the markup can be justified. They also give you a free bottle with the cap and tip with the Kayfun. I just wanted to say this before someone starts complaining because I think they're great people.

PPS. I use the tips to stuff the wick down the chamber too, works great.

147** here and still no movement on my ELA, received my tracking on the 3rd. Did you order something else?

Nevermind, i found it, the ship to state is not the same as the state in your sig :) Also, you had previously mentioned concern about an RBA you have not fitting. Below is a picture of your actual cap from your unit with a M7 x .0.5 Tap through it (which is the Universal Thread Size for the 510 atomizer threading). The cap spun on the tap with no problems (the threads are single pointed on our CNC, not tapped), indicating our threading is dead on, so if you have a problem with any atomizers or Rba's not threading on, you can contact that manufacturer to correct their thread sizes. So many companies are getting pretty sloppy about thread sizing and are oversizing them. They should be able to run an adjustable die over your tank/rba threading to bring it down a few thousandths and hopefully they'll adjust their threading going forward.

Dang. I don't know that I've ever seen a manufacturer who would go get the person's actual unit, test it, photo it and post it to allay their apprehensions.

. . . and for those who might not know, "Single Pointing" is using a single cutting tool on the lathe to form the threads, rather than running a tap or die onto the part. It's more precise and generally more time consuming, and thus more expensive.

Any AMP tank lovers in here (who have gotten their ELA)? I'm wondering if it might be possible to flush mount it using the adjustable airflow cap (yes, I realize I won't be able to adjust the airflow that way)?

Hmmm, I don't think it will, but I'll give it a try later and get back to you

EDIT: Nope, not even close. With the cap screwed down all the way the connector is still too deep inside to even begin to thread the tank on

I was wondering if anyone who has their ELA is using it with a KICK. I notice my battery life is shorter than I remember. Seems all my batteries from 18350 and up have noticeably shorter active time.

I take it you mean shorter than if you were using another mod with a kick, not just shorter lifespan in general, right?

If you already have a syringe, or a bottle cap for these, they're pretty cheap. Needles might scratch the ball bearing inside the fill hole.

I ordered these over the weekend and they just showed up today. What a difference they make filling the Kayfun! I can lay it down now, and no leaking out the air vent!

Just close the screw all the way when filling from the top and allow it to pressurize. Just tighten the top slowly, however it has a fill valve so might as well use it. God, how funny it is that all of a sudden it's Kayfun corral.. :).

mind telling me where you ordered yours? did you get it from the posted link to amazon? I have a couple of industrial equipment vendors that sell them. I dunno which brand is the 'best' (like food 'safe' materials or w/e).

Yes, I used to get on my Saber about 8 hours on ELA I get 4 maybe and the smaller batts about 1-2 hours before it starts sputtering and I get a little more time if I loosen up the tube ring and re-attach.

here is one way to feed the wicks. i noticed that making the wicks smaller works better for me. I then filled the gaps with filler that i use for my spheroid to feed my wicks. i didn't use too much because i didnt want to block the juice flow. it actually works pretty well. i also placed some of the filler in the juice collector at the bottom base just in case to prevent it from leaks at the air hole.

ELA has been officially shipped!!!!!! Should be here thursday!!!!!

I am having problems with my kayfun actually automatically feeding. I have checked the air holes, checked to make sure there was plenty of room in the chamber. Blah does it feed better with a more open air hole, or less?
