I did a bad thing, ordered another ELA, was too embarrassed to let anyone know, so now its off to the classifieds to sell some hardly used items.

Then make silica into an "S" and tuck into chamber. It looks like a huge wick but it keeps it juicy.

is that ekowool? i've been meaning to try it... and now that it's back in stock, i'm about to order it lol

So then skip mesh. Do the fat wick like I do and believe me it's gets no better. I've tried tons of setups, including 500 mesh wrapped around silica and oxidized on the silica to bind... And there is no point. It's a flawed theory, like Nike Air makes you jump higher . Don't be afraid to fill the cavity with wick, it soaks up the juice. Also... Use the OEM kayfun drip tip. It looks like a tiny hole but it tightens the draw which can be adjusted via the screw. It works excellent. If it ain't broke...

just ordered about 15 feet of it i'm gonna try and thread silica in the middle and use it in my other RBAs instead of mesh.

Mesh is great for gennys... I personally think it has no business in a silica RBA or fused with silica. It's all in your mind!

lol no doubt! after i think not even a month of getting my first PV (vamo), i went and got the aga-t+ and never looked back (i still have like over 20 unused cartos just sitting in a bag... )! but the beauty of RBAs to me is that i can experiment with different setups. i do keep my igo-L straight up silica tho but the ekowool is hollow so it might be fun to try new things with it... like maybe using it to wrap a mesh wick and see how that performs in the finicky aga-t

The second one is a Satin finish. I was lucky, someone didn't want a Satin so it was good timing on my part.

okay got it I think, and yes with mesh. I love my mesh in my drippers. I mix my juice at 3 and 5%, I have very good taste buds, I haven`t used a carto 2 years. I can taste silica and I also can taste ekowool, not as bad as silica, but I can still taste it. the mesh gives me a cleaner flavor.


right now 2 strands of 1.5mm ekowool, 500 mesh, 3/4 wraps of 30 gauge sitting at 1.0 ohm. great vape, was missing something so I tried vcoupe`s suggestion about the mouth piece, yep that was the final touch. love it, now even more stoked to get the ela. ha ha thought about getting a polished ela just to match the kayfun finish.

Well, I just paid for my second ELA, I charged it but just sold some great drip tips that I was not using, one special little one left

SOld some things Ive had in boxes for years from childhood and got great money for them. So now I can pay for car repairs and pay off the card for the ELA. Ive been on a sick spending spree since I got my first ELA, fancy drip tips, batteries, Little bits and pieces for my Odys it adds up. I used birthday money and christmas money for ELA, so I didnt really pay for it, gift money.

My Odysseus and my Saber were a gift to myself for selling my first ( and only, so far ) photo. Now I have to stop.
I have to sell more photos, but cant find "weird enough" people to want to buy them.

errm, if anyone bothered to read the PDF manual for the Kayfun, they list 2 ways to fill:

Method #1. "Classic" ... (classic!) ... A. Take off the top cap B. fill around the sides of the vaporizing chamber. C. Screw the top cap on.
(this method could cause some pressure to flood the chamber and "should be done in a timely (?) manner")
Timely? geez... thanks for the tip on turning it upside down etc...

Method #2: "through the valve" ...don't over fill...

anybody figure how much juice it holds?

Sorry if I'm derailing the thread. I noticed a lot of ELA owners will be putting a Kayfun on top, and thought it'd be of help. Even if Super T doesn't carry them I feel a bit shady putting up product links so if you'd like to know, toss me a PM.

Is the consensus the semi polished epsilon is the way to go with the polished ELA?
