How do these things work? (Yes, I know I could go search around but I'm lazy).
I'd like to do more microcoils but I seriously like silica better than any other wick. I've been sorta successful but it's a pain. Then again, in my imagination I have one other evil coil for the Strata that I never got to try; it's the opposite of a microcoil so it won't be a prob.

There is a local ECF member, Darkzero, that makes them as well. He is a fantastic guy and is on his 2-3 batch. He may have a few left before his next run. They are absolutely perfect for micro coiling. PM him and he will return it quickly.
I have 2 of them and was glad to support him,

After a long search I've found an ELA! First batch satin finish! I want a flat bottom cap and was wondering if the super t switches are just as good or better than the satburn switches. Anybody have any experience with these? Thanks guys!
This jig, and the other, are nice looking jigs. I am still using my micro screwdriver. One thing I did do, that helps, I put a mini bobby pin on it to hold the end of the wire. It has made wrapping, a whole lot easier.

Yeah, yours is more my speed but no jewelers screwdriver in the house. I also wanted to embody a little of the Dark Zero concept in a more affordable package. I searched for quite a while but finally found what I was looking for ...

Already ordered the flat cap! Need everything else though... Thanks for the reminder. For my micro coils I use a small 1" clamp to hold the drill bit. A couple of wraps around the handle, then start wrapping the drill bit.
Works really well for old wore out hands.

Im thinking if they can make a thing a ma jig for making coils, someone (maybe me?) needs to come up with one for holding ones R/NR wires taught so I can twist them easier and tighter for "feeble" fingers.
This is exactly why the jigs were introduced, for old hands, eyes and Simplicity(see what I did there?)
Having no issues with my strong pimp hands, the jig allows a compact coil with allowing one to fire on the atty to crimp tighter if needed(as video shows). It also is 10x easier for hands with issue. For 23.00 that Darkzero charges, it doesnt get easier.
Girl...we talked about this... You have the answer! Doooo eeet!![]()
Very smart...very very smart. I am impressed with your inno girl!
