Looks to me like you screw down your wire on the left, run your wire over to the post and wrap your coils and then trim.
Just a WAG on my part, but WAGs have served me well over the years

There is a local ECF member, Darkzero, that makes them as well. He is a fantastic guy and is on his 2-3 batch. He may have a few left before his next run. They are absolutely perfect for micro coiling. PM him and he will return it quickly.

This jig, and the other, are nice looking jigs. I am still using my micro screwdriver. One thing I did do, that helps, I put a mini bobby pin on it to hold the end of the wire. It has made wrapping, a whole lot easier.
I had some Satburn buttons on order, but I cancelled once David announced his flat bottom cap. My brother went ahead and followed through with his order so I've messed around with the Satburn. The machining is decent, but it doesn't have that "SuperT feel" to it. When using them side-by-side, the SuperT button wins. The Satburn isn't a bad button, but it isn't at the same level as David's stuff.

Yeah, yours is more my speed but no jewelers screwdriver in the house. I also wanted to embody a little of the Dark Zero concept in a more affordable package. I searched for quite a while but finally found what I was looking for ...

Real easy, a 4-5 inches of Kanthal, bend one end and secure it under the screw and wrap micro around post. BAM done.
Here's a buddy's video, you only need to watch the first couple of minutes the rest is REO info).
It eliminates the use of drill bits, tooth picks, small garden tools, used lollipop sticks, electrical wire or puppies to build the micro coil.
Very handy to use with yarn, silica and the coil will last for many many rebuilds.

Already ordered the flat cap! Need everything else though... Thanks for the reminder.
For my micro coils I use a small 1" clamp to hold the drill bit. A couple of wraps around the handle, then start wrapping the drill bit.
Works really well for old wore out hands.

, the jig allows a compact coil with allowing one to fire on the atty to crimp tighter if needed(as video shows). It also is 10x easier for hands with issue. For 23.00 that Darkzero charges, it doesnt get easier.
For my micros I hold down the wire with my finger and wrap around a drill bit, but sometimes it slips and have to start all over again.. Glad there's a couple jigs available to us now
Im thinking if they can make a thing a ma jig for making coils, someone (maybe me?) needs to come up with one for holding ones R/NR wires taught so I can twist them easier and tighter for "feeble" fingers.

Pretty reasonable price and I would expect a Lifetime Warranty as I don't see how you can break it.
Mine cost me 2 splinters and rock salt in the ... running from the neighbor's barn, Darkzero's is the better deal.
Thanks! The bobby pin has worked well. On bad days, I have issues attaching the coil to my KFLs. Shaky hands. Some women have 'pool boys'. Some days, I really could use an 'atty boy'.

I'm not going to take anything Away from dark zero. His jig is a work of art. But these we're laying around the house
Sorry for typos but I cut my thumb and fingers up today. iPhone don't work with bandages on. Oh well the story of being upset and trying to do small work With sharp objects. What can I say.
