I love using a Kick, for me the 10 watt limit is no problem as I enjoy a lightly warm vape. I set my watts at 8.5 and rarely have to adjust. I make my resistance at 2.7 - 2.9 and it adjusts itself to same wattage no matter the resistance. Kicks tend to do better a resistances above 2.5, not that it wont work, but battery has to work harder and will last a shorter time.

I like knowing that my performance will be the same from freshly charged battery to when it no longer has enough power to keep the wattage up. Yes this does mean an 18650 battery will have a shorter life, but heck I just pop in a fresh one.

Most people love the KICK, Unless you like real LR/ hot vaping.

One thing I can add about the kick is that it's very consistant compared to the other (chinese) vw mods, at least the vamo. I never felt any voltage drop when using it until literally the last hit b4 the stutter vape. I'd say to myself, "hmm, that felt a little light", and the next drag the pulses would always start. But with the vamo I can start on a fresh battery at 9 watts, but I have to slowly work that up to about 12 watts as it drains, and yes that's in rms mode. So for me, a kick in even something like the bolt I had (after I modded the switch and wiring) had a much better performance than the other vw mods I've tried. In something with as little loaded voltage drop as a Precise unit, it should outperform any other vw mod out there save maybe an actual Darwin or dna 20 mod. So until I get my DNA top cap I'll be running my kick.

In general, I do tend to prefer the vape of a 2.5-3.0 ohm coil with a Kick (primarily with silica wick setups), but I still do like my SLR twisted wire coils (those really shine with a genisis atty). Both are a different vaping experience as well as the former being nice and consistent and the latter being a little more hassle-free. That's the main reason I've failed so miserably at paring down my collection of vaping gear, I just can't stick with one thing all the time and I like the variety of vaping experiences

that said, I'm definitely looking forward to the DNA20 module for the ELA, as well as the other goodies David has in store ;-)

So far, I haven't been able to beat the vaping experience of the DC Cobra genesis. But the problem is, you sacrifice a LOT of battery life and a LOT of juice. Its nice for showing off and for special occasion vaping, but I'll stick with the traditional SR single coil.... makes the best out of battery life while having an amazing vaping experience at the same time.

My Cobra with a U-wick sure delivers the goods, now if only I had a P+18350 for it... :) The ELA will be a bit too wide me thinks, but I have some nice attys coming.

Also there should only be about a 2mm step from the Cobra to the ELA. Not enough to worry about IMO. I had a HUGE step on my Bombshell Stinger with a 20mm RBA. Take a look at the one on the right.

I don't like huge gaps. :) The Cobra is 20mm and the ELA is close to 24mm at it's widest.

Now I'm sure the Cobra will be nice on the ELA, but the P+18350 seems to be just a perfect match:

Biting my nails and pulling out my hair as I dream of our beloved ELA.... :vapor:

I was doing really good for awhile. Now I am getting all antsy again. I think even some new pictures would pacify me.

I seriously just need to stop checking this thread. Not that I don't care, I just know this will be the best mechanical device I could imagine owning and I need to calm my excitement.

Just got on the list for one of these beautys the senisis by senio from Poland. Hand made to you're specifications (air hole size, number of wick holes, ect) he makes 40-60 a month he's on 30 I'm number 421 oh well looks worth the wait. Don't have to pay till my numbers called.

I think it will go perfect with the brass accents on the ELA.

I'm on the list as well. Todd did a review of it and quickly after he was looking for a Caravela. Most likely to throw the Senisis on top. I need to go back and add engraving to my order. It looks pretty friggin nice.
