Is there something I'm missing on this locking mechanism? Sometimes it slides just fine, other times, like right now, I've pushed around on it for the last 3 minutes and it ain't sliding nowhere. Very frustrating.

I'll add. Taking the button out. I slid it back and forth thinking I'd just break it in a bit. Seems to slide just fine then. Put it back on and it's back to frustrating. Have to hit it just right while holding my tongue at a certain angle to get it to slide. Has my finger tip sore pushing around on this thing. Lol.

I got my ELAs, guess mail got here freakishly early. Usually around 5 or 6 pm, got here at 9:10am, one minute shy of 12 hours since it got to Ca.

I know this sound silly and wishy washy, but I really do feel complete now. Using my other devices such as the Natural and the Saber Touch ( which was my first after the KGO and I love) did not feel "right" From the very first time, the ELA just felt "right" in my hand. Yes, its much heavier but the button, the width, everything just felt natural in my hand. I love the button, and I swear this time that they got back, they feel different.
The button finish feels like day 1 , but no spin. It stays put. The locking ring feels different, better somehow. Even the top center posts feel different.

If I had to guess, Id almost say the polished was switched for a new one? No complaints, its just so "perfect" ? Im very happy, thank you David and Super T :)

It still moves if I move it, but it does not spin like it used to, I know its odd. I never minded the button moving. It is still smooth to lock and unlock.

Really? I love the soft, smooth throw of the button. Like how it spins freely. I like the concept of that locking button but dang it drives me nuts. Has yours just broken in or was it always that smooth? I can seriously push either side all over the place for like 3 minutes before I finally get it to lock or I just give up trying. The flat bottom does eliminate the need but jeez I'd like it to work better.

Mine was a bit stiff when I got them, but after taking it off and washing it once, it was smooth as can be.
