Probably. The compression ring is soft and can wear out. Probably replacing it will fix the issue.

Well that would be too bad, I haven't even had the ELA but for a month or so and I've barely used it. I've emailed SuperT about it.

For some reason the locking ring on my ELA is not holding the tube firmly in place. The tube kind of wobbly and I can spin it, whereas before the locking ring would tighten it. Does this have something to do with the compression ring?

The compression ring should not wear out that fast. I changed out one of mine, after a very long time. It was not worn, I just wanted to.

yeah, I was looking for springs forever, but I traded my HD springs for OEM ones. I just wish in situations like this that there were specs for these or an alternative place to find them. I like to buy from Super T as much as I can, BUT in situations like this one gets desperate. I posted somewhere on ECF asking just in case some other resourceful member had a secret to share and got nothing.

Yea it puzzles me also. NO ONE handles my ELA unless I'm right there with her. I never dripped in her either. Only Carto/tanks or a KFL. I run a kick so I don't have to worry about anything. Set at 7-8 watts. Guess this is one for the books. The juice that was in her smelled like the juice I had in my Reo. (which is carried on the opposite side of the pants.). Always stored in it's separate holder and bed, when not in use. This is just kinda jiggy to me.
I think it was trying to tell me she wanted some TLC. Which she is now getting. :D

If your kick was in your reo then some juice stowed away inside the plastic shrink-wrap until it got set down at just the right angle to leak out and run down your ELA's pant leg.:D

I hear a lot of people avoid being verified, It was no big deal. It just asks to verify that your address exists and if you have a Paypal account they just make sure you do. They dont get any info that could be used for dubious things.

The only danger is that one might end up stalking and spending on things you dont really need :)

I will try it.
I am sure my willpower will be absolutely proof a gainst such temptations.
After all, I am patiently waiting my chance at the Plus and ELA, and didnt buy a thing to hold me over,. As a matter of fact, I even (looks at bank statement, sees Super T)

Perhaps I should do like you....

Anybody know anything about making springs? Over the years I've noticed it seems like springs can be a hot/difficult to find commodity, not just with Super-T either. Is there something special about the springmaker's craft?

Nothing too difficult. I've been thinking about buying some beryllium copper wire and making some.
Doing it in bulk, in a cost effective manner though, requires some $.
