I am wanting to go for the shorter side of things guys. I plan mostly on running this on an 18350. Any suggestions for a short gen rba or dripper. I have an A8 a AGAT2 on the way along with a DID clone dripper as well. But yeah the shorter the better.
As mentioned earlier, there's the dra xl. Just watched todd's review on it. Think i might give it a try.

My opinion doesn't carry as much weight as Todd's but got one of these last week and they are a very good dripper. As Todd says the draw is tight but apart from that a very good dripping atty. Using it now :vapor:

In anticipation of ELA's arrival, I've been stocking up on miscellaneous odds and ends. I've been meaning to get a new charger, and my heart was always set on the Pila. I was about to buy one when I found the new xtar charger. It has very similar specs to the Pila plus a few extra features like 3 different current settings and a real time LCD display. The best part is, unlike the Pila, you don't need spacers to charge 18350s, which is my battery of choice when I'm out of the house.

I'm getting a RSST with a 1.4 drilled air hole from Captivape, that along with a Genisis LV and an A7 will be my rebuild-able arsenal however for a bit I think I'm going to keep it simple with an HH.357 and some aero 306's. :D

What is an rsst?

Wicked charger. Where would go to acquire one of those bad boys. I seen one posted in the ihy thread awhile back, but couldn't find it again.

The model is VP1. Got mine from empire, but seems like they're sold out already. David sells all of the other Xtar chargers so I'm hoping that he will stock these new ones as well since he has always provided us with the best gear.

i ordered from there today... from what i read, people say it's an ac9 clone but i also read good things about it. the best part is that it's cheap!

That would be it, but if you order it from captivape you can add air hole modification to the order and chose from 1.2-1.6mm. Plus it is 99 cents cheaper and you have the privilege of supporting such an awesome vendor. lol RSST from Captivape and Air hole modification

I wonder if it will charge a 26650 like a Pila can??? I like the LCD voltage readout...

I've got two wp2-II's and I love them. 1A charging is the deal on IMR 18650's (and, truth be told, though I'll no doubt be scorned for this assessment, 18500's as well). Only bad thing is that I fried the wall wart on both chargers, I guess when I touched the battery slider with a static electric charge built up in my body. I got a couple of bargain bin RCA 1A universal AC adapters from Amazon to replace the crappy OEM adapters, and my Xtars seem much more durable now.

Same happened to the wallwart on my wp2. I think they just ship with crappy power supplies. I replaced mine with a 2 amp wallwart from a scanner I don't use any more. Works perfectly now.

thanks for the tip... i have a Pila, for years now and its just great... my backup is a TR 03P4 with 4 bays and spring loaded so they fit all the sizes any time... it doesn't charge as fast as the Pila, but it seems just as safe where the Pila also needs spacers for smaller than 18650 sizes.

I don't get it ... good charger, crappy power linkage.

Seems to be the case... My guess would be that they didn't see the need to design their own power supply since it would be cheaper to simply use a standard off the shelf unit. Probably just buying the cheapest supply they can find that meets the minimum specs... Considering the price and the quality of the charger itself, I'm fine with replacing the wallwart myself. Just have to make sure the replacement can supply the necessary amperage.

There have been so many little "gremlins" on the site posting April Fools posts, I spent time reading things yesterday that freaked people out, that got peoples hopes up etc. Not that I dont like a practical joke, but Im so glad no one posted any "jokes" about the ELA being out and shipping, or problems etc. Im glad to see there are such "serious" and responsible members on this thread :)

We are such a "mature" bunch :p
