I'm thinking the kayfun 3.1 is going to go well with this, or possibly the DRA-XL if I want to drip:)

Thanks for the tip daveinleics,
Just had a look at this mega atty on https://www.vapor-freak.de/DRA-XL?filter_name=Dra
Never heard of this atty before, and probably would't look bad on the ela either.
Thinking of buying it, but not sure if the ss quality would match that of the ela.

It is quite well made and SS - not super quality though of course. The inside is a copy of the Sattys which is impossible to get as only 50 were made. A good dripping rba though:)

thanks for reminding me of the Pene on the ELA... I guess thats a tad of a problem with the P+?
(I would have to adjust things to get some gap there)

I use a penny on my p+. You have to crank the coil wick center part down into the bottom collar part as far as it'll go so the center pin of the 510 connector protrudes below the outer part. With the center pin sticking out father, the penny has just enough gap to breathe.

David sells some upgrade kicklet style caps for the p+ with air channels if you aren't comfortable cranking your Penelope's guts down that hard. I haven't tried one, though.

Thinking of the kayfun 3.1 too, but i'm also looking into the ithaka and the foggatti...
None if them measure 24mm though :-(

I think the ithaka is the largest of the 3 @ 23mm. My foggy is at home on the poldiac, and hopefully my doodle bug will ship next week, and its going on the chi.

I would still like to have the kayfun, does anyone know when the next sale is? I didn't get up in time and missed the last one.

The Wand looks a little too busy on the Poldiac, but notice the match with the P+500... a little top heavy looking but the Wand is light as a feather.
Its a Wand Ti, and has a lot of nice features i.e. the air hole is adjustable with a sliding door which I dont have aligned right now btw.
The price of these things are in the "collectible" range and I wouldn't consider the Wizard Ti right now (one in the classies for over $400), but I imagine if David's satin ELA looks anything like the finish on the P+... I'm in the ballpark.

Wow, that wand looks more at home on that p+ than on the w.app

Amen... this is now my favorite thread! ha guess why... most highly anticipated mod, in my world, currently :)

SuperT Gen atomizer? ... SuperT Hybrid? ... oh SuperT can make life so wonderful...

not just to look forward to... but once you get it in your hands... I finally got a P+ for the first time just a week ago and see what all the fuss is about... quality machining and design. Love the durable yet light form.

I only now appreciate a good mechanical device btw... noob here, as I have been an avowed "regulated power" fan for years; just couldn't see the value or need for one... but recently became a big Genesis super low resistance fiend.
[how would i know that all the fuss about learning how to do RBA's would result in such a great vape?]

Until Dave makes a Gen I'm gonna put my current favorite Gen on it... the Wand. Like the P+, when quality and design meet, the vape is superior... not just aesthetically but both function and form!

so glad he's making them in mass batches though... couldn't afford both an ELA and an RBA that were made in such small batches as the Wand and Wizard... $$$ + $$$ but then again just one great mod is worth all inferior mods put together imo...

tell me about it... i recently just got into the whole vv/vw world (just this past feb.)... i currently have a VAMO after moving from LOGIC e-cigs. the VAMO is fine but i want to try my hand on a mech mod. i did all my research and finally decided on the ELA. i know caravela's and the like are super nice but i dunno. the brass connection/pieces upkeep, luxury price, and the seemingly, perpetual state of 'out of stock'-ness is something i can do without.

i know i read somewhere that SuperT is thinking of/designing a genny so that's another thing i'm looking forward to. currently i have an aga-t+ and it's somewhat of an eye opener. as a beginner, i find it very unforgiving... setting it up, you pretty much have to get it perfect but i don't mind it since i'm learning a lot.

i have an IGO-L on the way as my first dripper and i can't wait to try that. i'm thinking of getting an RSST next before jumping on the more expensive RBAs as well.

It sounds like we are following the same path here! Started with regular 510 batteries and cartomizers, and moved to a Vamo recently. I've been using a couple of AGA-T2s and recently ordered the RSST and IGO-L to try something different. I've also started using a SMOK Natural just to get a feel for mechanical mods. It's been a great experience and I find the experimentation has kept up my interest in vaping and off the analogs. My wife has taken over my Vamo and has almost quit smoking as well.

I may have to order another ELA just in case she wants mine when it arrives.

I can hardly wait to experience the quality of the ELA....

lol awesome! you know after my earlier post, i actually went ahead and ordered the RSST! :D

it's true tho. i'm enjoying the whole experimentation thing as well and i really am super excited with the ELA. i might actually pick up either another ELA and/or the P+, later down the road too.... or maybe a provari lol

just saying, i was a Provari fanboy since they first came out in 2010 and have had at least one for all the years until now...not extreme fanboy though ha.. tempered with reason... thing is that they are protected power regulated = no sub 1.0 Ohms Genesis vaping... to say the least
there are many who learned Genesis on those (VV's) and God bless them... its difficult to walk that fine line of best resistance to voltage fine line there.. 1.0, to 1.5 without getting errors and you're limited to the thinner wire for coils... Vamo may have capacity for moer wattage but not sure... at least not sub 1.0 Ohms..

I do find that silca wick RBA's do great at around 1.0 to 1.3 Ohms though...:) and those ranges are perfect for the ELA too. I'm sure it can do anything well... but I find anything over 1.5 Ohms in a Geni or RBA is not as good a vape... just my 2c

That's cool frag. Just read that they're stopping the production of the Kayfun Alpha. So in any case make sure you don't order that one...
(I've pm'd you)
