not at all... like i mentioned, similar or acceptable batts..."...not a lot" actually there are alternatives that fit within superT's criteria... basically a decent brand of batt that is IMR or similar to the IMR... if you know the criteria, I don't, but i know there are some terms i recognize: "hi drain" ... "safe chemistry"... a certain amp load capability and more.
I wouldn't turn my nose up at an Efest batt... there's some newer and not so new batts that member bishopeals for one, documents in his threads.

Yea the Efest seem to perform on par with AW IMR's.I have 8 Efest 18650's in rotation,2-2000's(flat top),and 6-2250's(button top,the buttons come flush with the top of batt so they might as well be flat top),and 2-each of the 500's and 350's.As you can tell,i tend to run my PV's in 650 mode quite alot.

18490 and 18500 are essentially the same thing. I think the different numbering probably originated from the fact that the IMR version was slightly shorter and my not work in all devices (not thinking e-cig here, just general battery applications like flashlights, etc), so a different moniker was applied to help differentiate the slight difference in size. Generally in the e-cig world, that slight length difference is not an issue as the battery spring in most mods will compensate for it just fine

I could be wrong on that, but basically my point is that 18500 and 18490 are the same size for our intents and purposes :)

The AW 18500 won't play nice with a kick, or at least it didn't for me. But it also didn't complain about a .5 ohm coil (I rebuilt the coil higher after a day - I don't know what the "official" amp rating is for the 18500, which made me anxious).

Spent some time watching David's videos to make sure I was setting up the ELA correctly. Got it all set up and it's working brilliantly. I'm currently using an AC9, 18490 mode. Wow, this is THE telescoping mod I've been looking for, and I really didn't even realize it until tonight.

My other telescopics (GGTS, Gus, 69) require center pin adjustments to get the firing button lined up with the wick/draw hole on my rbas. Even the smallest difference in battery length requires some adjustment. With the ELA it's become a non-issue. Just line up the top tube where I want it and tighten the lock ring. Perfect!

I'm just so impressed with this device and Super T's quality. I may have to order another one, along with a simplicity.

I'm not sure where David is at with the first 2 rounds of "pre sale" ELAs but if its in the cart he probably has some openings left... 200 per round aprox.
At this point we estimate it could be a couple months at least...? best to ask David with an email.

Sorry if this has been answered but I didn't see it in the pages I scrolled through and I didn't see it on the Super T website but I have a few questions. I was able to add the ELA to my cart on the Super T's website, does that mean its still for sale? If so what is the estimated wait? I understand their are unforeseen events that may delay productions, but what can I expect roughly if I ordered this today? I thought I read somewhere that only a few hundred were being made?

Yeah, David's work will spoil one... i remember my P+'s being so easy to deal with, and now the ELA is going to be even better in that regard.

my Favorite set up, "visually" is the 18350, just looks so pretty, but my favorite is the mid mode 18490/500 with the accent ring and a crown. But heck it is beautiful in every mode.

We've changed the wait to approximately 10-12 weeks from date of order. There are about 25 left on the second batch and then it will be closed for good. When the ELA reemerges, it won't have the same full boat of features and low introductory price (just a heads up for those wanting it as is). Once its closed, we'll just work our way through the orders in the order they came in.

Yeup, those are Odysseus, with different tank configurations and optional tank parts. One does have the term body and the other has a 3rd party GG winged tank part. They also are sporting the Ithaka mouthpieces for your own drip tips.

I am waiting on Ithaka tank parts for the Ody. Ithaka parts are compatible as well at the Terms

We did a final count on batch two and the exact number left are 38. We changed the website inventory.

Help us get these sold and batch two shut down! After this, the ELA will not be available for quite some time and not at the introductory price of 189.99 and also minus several included options such as the Adjustable draw or the bottom removable accent ring, so its a hell of buy!
