SO any of you that have more than one ELA loan yours out to PBusardos, or Scott of IGetcha or TOdd of Todds reviews. I like Todd and Busardos.

LOL, I would like to see Scott shell out some cash for an ELA, that guy gets way too many freebies. Todd does buy more frequently to review the latest mod, don't know if I've seen any of the Busardos vids.

Btw, I'm getting my vape system together ...
- Batts and Tanbur Stainless Steel T-Tip received
- ELA on order
- Custom leather belt-clip holster on order

Looking for the elusive Foggatti T22 rba to place an order! Anyone know when the next T22 batch will hit the street? Emailed FoGGy and nothing from them. VV is waiting for the Foggatti Hybrid which I'm sure will have additional T22's. That's the last item on my hit list, that hard to find rba!

Where did you get your holster from? Please share. And maybe post a pic! I do have serenity gear open top for my provari. And I love it

Don't have any pics as this is a custom job and will be finished in about 6 weeks, I'll post some pics then when it comes in. I checked with Serenity Gear (Griff), they have toned down their operation quite a bit and wouldn't have time until Sept for what I was looking for, and even that was no guarantee. Serenity Gear does some outstanding work, too bad it's more of a part time operation now. I went to Rob of RMB Custom Leather and told him what I wanted, another source that does some outstanding work. Not a problem for Rob, and what Rob is doing is very close to what Griff has done in the past.

This is some of Griff's handy work that helped convey to Rob what I was looking for.

Just wanted to thank those with the kind words. COM, wait till you get your ELA in before you sell off anything you are not completely sure about.

Id hate for you to sell something you regret and have me to blame that on:) Nothing wrong with a collection, no matter how large or small. Heck I have a room full of toys or weird figurines and metal pieces that I could probably make a lot of extra money but I know I would only spend more replacing them or never find them again.

About the 'ailments" i have, most of the time I try not to advertise it or dwell on them, but yesterday was a particularly hard day for me.

Priscilla / aka anavidfan

anavidfan is a reference to one of my all time favorite movies: Manhunter an 80s film where Hannibal Lecter was first introduced. It was a prequel to Silence of the Lambs based on a Thomas Harris Crime Novel. The killer in that film communicated to Hannibal and went by the name of "an avid fan"

Congrats on your purchase, it will go by faster than you think. But warning, and Im sure other will relate, that the hardest part is keeping yourself from buying things for ELA and the time from that shipping notice and when it actually gets in your hands.

I have a second ELA coming and its 1592*, so I get to go thru all that again.

No kidding! I'm living proof of that. Since I ordered my ELA, I have ordered 1 Kayfun 3.1, 2 Kayfun Lites, and 1 Ithaka.

Please hurry with #158xx, David!

For what it is worth i would like to make an apology for my collective rants and accusations made on this forum. They served no real purpose and held little ground or worth other than to let of an accumulative amount of aggression and agitation from unrelated circumstances. In other words i feel the delays were the straw that broke me. I have been vaping for over 4 years now and through my years i have had times of disappointment from many products and vendors. I have realised i have developed a want for items rather than a need and consistently chase various things and require them quickly in order to satisfy this habit. I have known this for a while but today its coming to an end. I have decided to sell majority of my collection and only keep what i need. Anavidfan i owe majority of this transformation to you and your kind words on this forum. Anyway thanks for reading and happy vaping.

Firstly, you are a first-class gentleman of high quality for your humility, your empathy, and your prostration. I salute you, sir.

Secondly, you raise an interesting point. The vaping world tends to bring out obsessive behaviors. To borrow a line from "The Italian Job", there are some who acquire vaping gear to enrich their lives. Others, to define it. It sounds like you were the latter, but have decided to become the former.

Years ago I played Everquest, a mmorpg where players were treated as rats hitting buttons for rewards. In early play the rewards were frequent -- easy to gain levels and new abilities, and equipment was easy to acquire. As play progressed to higher levels, gradually more effort was required to produce similar rewards. Eventually, gaining a level required a week of coordinated grinding; learning a new spell meant weeks of camping the same dungeons, and the most desirable equipment was exceedingly rare, proudly displayed by players who camped for dozens of hours for weeks of days and won a lucky dice roll, owned by few, coveted by all.

See any similarities with acquiring vape gear?

The whole thing with mmorpg's is designed to get people addicted. And addicted I was. I stopped going out with friends to spend more time grinding. I stopped begging for hours at work, my paychecks declined, I fell behind on my rent, and I spent an embarrassing number of days at home in my pajamas in front of the computer from wake til sleep. Eventually I lost my job and got kicked out of my house. When I think back on the opportunities I skipped to feed my addiction, I'm mortified.

To say the least, I'm well acquainted now with my tendency for obsession, and I give it a wide berth.

When I started vaping, I started on the ubiquitous ego-t. It was good enough to get me off smokes, but ever since I've been on a quest for better. Better throat hit, easier maintenance, cheaper consumable parts... But very early on when I began to covet higher end equipment such as the FOG and the AFS and similar, I discovered the correlation between rarity and desirability. It reminded me too much of Everquest.

I decided not to become a collector. I get my vape gear for its utility, not its rarity. Aside from my ego stuff I keep for vapeageddon, I really don't own any vape gear I don't use. I'm not sure whether my motivation is the same as COM76's, but I think it's at least a cousin.

Same here. Kayfun lite on the way from Russia, Terminator from Stormys (lost in mail three weeks now  ), a stratus 22 I just paid for on pre order and I'm on the list for a prometey, and it was all I could do to not spring for a Cobra. I'm not sure I regret any of it, but four toppers for one ELA plus a Provari is kinda nuts.

First of thank you for the recognition and second i really think it depends on the type of person you are as to how or if you chase the dragon if you get my meaning. I went in small waves that slowly grew in so called needs. For a good 2 years i was quite content with an ego setup. I put my provari aside along with my gg and thought what was i thinking buying such large mods when an ego or ego twist can meet my demands. I left the forums and the chase for a long time then all of sudden (I dont recall why) but i decided to hit the scene again. Gone was the blue foam and tea bag mods and bang here grab a bunch of ss mesh and make a genisis and start spending a lot of money to keep up with it all. Like i said earlier im going to slow right back down, get my ELA and something that suits it on top and call it quits for a while. At least till uni ends. It will be interesting to see what the scene has for me when i return.
