Firstly, you are a first-class gentleman of high quality for your humility, your empathy, and your prostration. I salute you, sir.

Secondly, you raise an interesting point. The vaping world tends to bring out obsessive behaviors. To borrow a line from "The Italian Job", there are some who acquire vaping gear to enrich their lives. Others, to define it. It sounds like you were the latter, but have decided to become the former.

Years ago I played Everquest, a mmorpg where players were treated as rats hitting buttons for rewards. In early play the rewards were frequent -- easy to gain levels and new abilities, and equipment was easy to acquire. As play progressed to higher levels, gradually more effort was required to produce similar rewards. Eventually, gaining a level required a week of coordinated grinding; learning a new spell meant weeks of camping the same dungeons, and the most desirable equipment was exceedingly rare, proudly displayed by players who camped for dozens of hours for weeks of days and won a lucky dice roll, owned by few, coveted by all.

See any similarities with acquiring vape gear?

The whole thing with mmorpg's is designed to get people addicted. And addicted I was. I stopped going out with friends to spend more time grinding. I stopped begging for hours at work, my paychecks declined, I fell behind on my rent, and I spent an embarrassing number of days at home in my pajamas in front of the computer from wake til sleep. Eventually I lost my job and got kicked out of my house. When I think back on the opportunities I skipped to feed my addiction, I'm mortified.

To say the least, I'm well acquainted now with my tendency for obsession, and I give it a wide berth.

When I started vaping, I started on the ubiquitous ego-t. It was good enough to get me off smokes, but ever since I've been on a quest for better. Better throat hit, easier maintenance, cheaper consumable parts... But very early on when I began to covet higher end equipment such as the FOG and the AFS and similar, I discovered the correlation between rarity and desirability. It reminded me too much of Everquest.

I decided not to become a collector. I get my vape gear for its utility, not its rarity. Aside from my ego stuff I keep for vapeageddon, I really don't own any vape gear I don't use. I'm not sure whether my motivation is the same as COM76's, but I think it's at least a cousin.

Rojo that's quite a story! And a great microcosm of our society at large, chasing the ever bigger, but more scarce rewards and losing sight of what life can be all about.

And all of us being ex smokers already have addictive tendencies so it's much easier to get addicted to the gear acquisition syndrome that seems so prevalent in the ecig market. It's quite a fascinating study, former addicts with disposable cash freed up from not buying anymore cigarettes, and a seemingly never ending stream of new toys to purchase. I find the ecig market an interesting study, due to its explosive growth, regulatory issues and the ability for people to redirect an ongoing amount of their savings into new purchases.

For me I got caught up on the merry go round for awhile but then saw how much stuff I was actually using, and the rest piled up in a drawer somewhere..these will go to friends who are wanting to quit smoking. Since discovering Super T and ordering 2 ELAs (my wife also vapes) and Simplicitys I've found I prefer to have a few pieces of good quality gear around that provide a pleasant vaping experience. Thanks to this forum I've found what works well for my wife and I and hopefully I'll get away from the feeding frenzies, the F5ing, and the endless lists for new and so called better products. Not to mention some of the junk that's out there. And maybe I can actually save some money from my new found freedom from cigarettes!

OK LIFE CAN GO ON NOW

However I am getting 500 sleeve rattle, what was the fix on that?

That is beautiful, I think thats the first Fogatti/ ELA combo Ive seen, nice.
As far as the rattle, I dont know what to suggest. Im sure there will be someone out there with a suggestion. Whatever the fix is , Im sure David will be able to help you however that may be. I just hope he chimes in before Monday. If not either call or send an email.

Are you using a kick with the 500 mode, Make sure you are using the kick extension, I have noticed that when I use a kick in 18500 without the extension, that sometimes I get a rattle due to the locking ring and the end of the tube falling right in between the ring. The ring somehow has a hard time with slippage because its got only partial contact.

Just a thought.

It should be in the title and body of the email receipt.

Thanks, and like an idiot when I got the email, I renamed the invoice, saved it then deleted the email.
I then pulled up the invoice just before I posted my question (checking for an order number) and then inadvertently deleted that lol.
I better not go outside today, I'll probably walk right in front of a moving bus.

I have sent David an email to recover the lost info.

LOL, Magic Dragon, I'm like that too. :D Sometimes it's just safer--for myself and my community--to just stay inside and be careful of sharp corners. ;)

If you bought the ELA while logged into an account on the Super T site you should be able to retrieve your number. Sign into your account and click on orders and all your Super T orders should be there....
