They obviously have missed the point of Super T products lol. No Rhodium or lifetime warranty = FAIL . I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that they will never get the tube to not wobble either. [

Yeah it was taken down about two weeks after I ordered my satin one around the middle or end of April. Got lucky on that one. You can always send yours in to have it refinished, but be aware that once it is refinished to satin it cannot be changed back to polished.
Satin was available when I placed my first two orders in Batch #2. But, I ordered polished. When I ordered my third, it was no longer available. Little sorry I didn't order one of them as satin.

Gonna try to get a kayfun lite for it I think. Been having trouble figuring out what to put on it. Think that'll be the ticket until david comes out with an rba and or rda.
Yep they were available early on in the pre-order and i love my satin.I was thinking early in before mine shipped to switch to a polished because of all the beautiful pics everyone was posting with polished atty's on top.Satin version also looks spectacular with polished,or matte atty's.
I won't really get into it as I don't want to get to far off topic or offend people who read this that have purchased 'knock off' products..
I can't stand them. The people who make them are bottom feeding scum! Not just this knock off of the ELA but ALL of the knockoff products! They make a profit off someone else design, hard work, and innovation with cheap garbage.
I know some people vape on a budget and maybe they can't afford the high quality original products but they can always save for a few months and purchase the authentic version later..
A lot of these knock offs are junk anyway and won't last long, have flaws and are not even close to the quality offered by the real producer.
I sent them an email asking if it was the same high quality as the Super T ELA because I imagine their response, if I even get one, will be rather comical..

I agree with you on the knock offs,especially when they advertise there knock off as the original,and post pics of the original makes me sick.That is the only way the chinese can compete is to knock off others hard work and originality.I have the pleasure of knowing i have the original Supert ELA
I take solace in my belief that anybody who buys a clone, a clone clone, actually wants a real one. Why buy it otherwise? They may try to publicly save face by claiming poverty or frugality or whatever else they rationalize, but every time they pick it up they know it's an illusion.

Meh, I don't feel a bit guilty vaping on my Terminator-C. It's more a question of availability than anything, plus the price was attractive for the quality. I was in the right place at the right time to snag a UFS a long time ago, but I haven't been able to chance upon the sale of any other GG topper since. Such offerings go on sale one day every 6 months or so at CoV, and usually when I happen to be broke. But Stormy's pretty much always has the Term-C in stock. I decided I wanted one, and that was that. No planning or stalking needed. And the build quality is actually pretty impressive -- perhaps not 100% GG, but I'd say maybe 95%, which is good enough for 1/3 the cost.
And contingent upon reputation, I daresay I'll probably end up with a Russian sooner or later for the same reasons.
I don't feel bad for Imeo or SvoeMesto. They sell every unit they produce, and there's never surplus. I don't believe I've taken any money away from them.
Having said that, I have no such illusions about an ELA clone. The ChELA will not have rhodium plated contacts. It will not be given the intense attention that David personally gives his genuine ELA for fit and finish. It won't have a lifetime warranty. It will not offer any aspect of what makes an ELA the best mech. I don't believe the ELA can be cloned.

I agree with you for the most part except, and this is an exception I find unique to the Vaping world, is that many modders run their business as a hobby rather than a business (for many of them, it must just be a hobby). They come up with cool ideas and then put out a few hundred of them. I understand having limited editions but I don't understand just making a few hundred of a device and then moving on to the next thing. Clearly, it doesn't bother most modders to be cloned or they would fill the market place with their own products eliminating some of the clones and the flippers. Look at just about any mod makers website and you will see more "Out of Stock" products than you will in stock products.
If you can afford the best, buy the best. If you can't, settle for the next best thing available.
I don't judge those whom cannot afford the more expensive original goods nor those whom spend their dollars foolishly.

I believe serious modders are not happy about cloning and are at the mercy of the system.
Its up to the market to support them and for good reason.
At the same time 1. most clones up to now are junk in so many ways; a waste of money imo unless you are good with modding them your self.
2. Starting to happen now, in limited areas... when cloning standards rise, the original modders are facing a serious problem imo. How could they compete with cost differences?
