How about machine quality on the kayfun tubes & parts? I've see all the pics and resolution is really not high enough to see small flaws if present. (Nor would you want to show them in higher resolution if present). The German's are pretty damn good at workmanship, so would expect flawless quality of all the bits - but I have to ask anyway. Now be honest, when you got your kayfun and began assembling the bits and pieces, was the finish on the parts high quality or did you encounter a small scratch, burr, little ding or other blemish here and there?

Actually I had more burrs on my simplicity 14500 than I had on my kayfun. No burs no scratches, no knicks! Outstanding quality!

I haven't seen anyone mention this to you, but the kayfun will leak on you when there is a substantial change in barometric pressure. May be that it's more drastic down here in texas during the summer but both the lite and ES leak on me regardless of the build when I take it outside.

Wow that sux mate. Have you tried the old squeeze the dripper bottle (with nothing in it) then insert it into the fill hole, then let go (sucking the air out of the unit). I had a few leaks at one stage and that fixed everything.

That should work, but only until you need to refill again, but easy enough to do again. Same goes for liquids packed in luggage that you check at the airport and then pressure cycle to 35K feet :D Nothing like a 10oz plastic bottle of shampoo emptied all over your clothes to bring the point home that maybe next time squeeze the air out of the shampoo bottle first!

No I haven't tried that. After reading the manual and seeing a few videos I just acquiesced. Figured it was just a quirk of the device. But I'll give that a shot. Thanks

How many vapers does it take to change a light bulb?

- one, but he rebuilds the same bulb over and over.

- one, but there's a waiting list.

- one, but he's still waiting on the replacement bulb to ship.

- two: one to replace the bulb, and the second to make a YouTube video explaining the process and reviewing the bulb.

:)

Temperature does make a difference if something is going to leak. When the temp rises it makes your liquid more viscous/ thinner so if it can find a way it will. On hot days when I use my Odys, I dont need to open up the juice flow as much.

Only time I get leaks is when I dont tighten my pieces enough, which happens once in a while, but I know right away. I have my stupid hands and sometimes its a real pain.

The only thing I get that some might think annoying is I get so much good vapor and I chain vape so much that I get condensation around the bottom of the tank and on my contacts and around top cap. When you vape there is some leftover vapour that doesnt get inhaled so it goes back down the center pin and out the connection. A very minor thing, but better than dry hits:)

BTW, the ELAs Rhodium contacts are very forgiving with the amount of condensation it can tolerate and keep on going.

It was good of David to send out the final ELA's even though he will have to post out the switch pins again. When i first started reading the update i was "Ow .... no" and then i was "Ow thats nice". I have not gotten the email notice yet. I am pretty sure i am not in the last 5 so should get it soon. Anyone else from Australia order an ELA and know how long it takes? Cant recall the type of posting Super T uses.
