Cucco, thanks - that explains it and very logical, I was feeling much better about it ... for about 2 seconds.
Tennovan, appreciate the time and effort you put into that prediction, very scientific - but after careful consideration, I've decided we don't have enough data to establish a trend to determine future deliveries :D

#16459 so ya I have a while to wait. I'm just glad I got one pre ordered. So it's not a question of IF I can get one just when. Congrats to you folks that picked up on the canceled orders. By the way who in their right mind CANCELLED an order?

I will just sit back, relax, and let David do his magic...

If mine takes 6 months then so be it.. Sure I'd love to have it yesterday but David's work is second to none and well worth the wait..

My .02

Same here, the reason I'm in is for the tech, aesthetics and quality - none of which should be sacrificed for schedule.

I think it was a matter of impatience or the opportunity for another "must have" device came up and they need to free up some funds. Maybe some ordered a more than one and figured they needed one?

I hope my last post didn't cause anyone to rethink their decision to order. Those numbers were just an estimate based on the past 2 weeks and probably aren't indicative of how things will turn out. Besides, going into this we all knew we were in for the long haul. I doubt anyone that recently ordered honestly expects their ELA anytime soon. And for those of us that ordered before that... we've already waited this long, what's another month or three?

I've made my peace with it and now just enjoy coming here to see other people post pics of their ELA. One day soon though...

You are welcome. Tennovan could be right about the 550. I thought it was 450. I tried searching back for David's post that told us the total, but I have a horrible internet connection tonight. There are some really smart people on here, that can probably do a good job of calculating an estimate of when you will get your order. I just chose from the start to not think about it. When I'm waiting for something, 'oblivious' is a good thing! :)

I'm happy, I was not online to see the offering. Prevented me from being tempted to order a fourth! :)

Agree, can't get fixated on it or it will drive you nuts, like waiting for water to boil x infinity! If I were to take a crack at it, I would get the order number of the first delivery and date delivered. Then I would get the order number of the last delivery and date delivered. From that, come up with how much the order numbers increase/day (subtracting 1st order number from last order number divided time between deliveries), then and see how many days from the last delivery order number you would need to get to your order number.

Nothing too convoluted about that! - makes perfect sense to me lol.

What is this fixation with having more that one? I'll even go out on a limb and say two might be ok so you have a backup if something goes terribly arie, but 3 or 4? There are so many other COOL toys out there that need to be acquired. Not necessarily needed, but acquired nonetheless!

i got a second because I wanted something as a back up. I was looking at so many different ones. I just could find any other MOD that made me as "cucoo" as the ELA. As listed on my signature, I dont have many PVs. My black Saber will be going to my boyfriend eventually. My Natural is in my sons hands.

One has to have a back up. Looked at the similar devices, but kept coming back to the ELA. I like simple. I am so pleased with ELAs features and ease of all the aspects. I love the 24mm width. I think the heftiness of my Odysseus atomizers needed that little extra mm to balance it out.

SO I did a very frivolous thing and got another ELA. The second one will be satin finished, so at least it will be somewhat different.

Agreed. Not to mention being unable to acquire some of the other high end mods. A few of the others I had looked at were all "out of stock" with no mention of if and when you could get ahold of one. The ELA was at the top of my list anyway so I was thrilled to get in on that one.

Yeah it was 6 months before the first wave shipped out. Those who recently placed their orders... I'm sure it wont be 6 months of waiting for you; but wait, you will.

Those who pre-ordered in December received theirs in, what was it? Late May / early June? I ordered mid March and it's looking like I'll receive mine in a week or so. So I'd estimate about a 4 1/2 to 5 month wait.

Ya I'm glad I found out late cause I'm certain I would've picked up one more. Pure greed. Lol.

Don't get me wrong, greed is a good thing, greed with instant gratification behind it even better - most of the time :) What would help some of you here (with the wait) is starting up your own Every-Day-Carry (EDC) bag. I'm always building on mine and I have some awesome stuff now. EDC is suppose to be tools and stuff you can tote with you everyday that will take care of most anything that would come up in your travels, a Leatherman multi-tool is a good example. Anyway, new gadgets are always cropping up that are good EDC items, most you really don't need but must have anyway. I use to be able to haul my EDC stuff around in my pockets and belt-clip pouches, but no more. My EDC collection has grown to the point that I need to lug around a large leather satchel now (my man purse), but I swear on God's green earth that there is not a soul on this planet that has a better or more high-end EDC than me! Maybe someday I'll show some pics lol.

You are ok on that, some rational thought went into the decision and it was based on a sound risk mitigation plan :)

My vape is an essential tool. Business and/or personal, I always choose a quality tool, and then have at least one backup for that tool. If the tool may not be readily available in the future, I may purchase multiple backups. I don't need, or want, a variety of vapes. I just want a vape that looks good, feels solid, and performs consistently.

My employees rarely lost man hours, due to the lack of the right tool/equipment. Vaping .. my goal is zero lost vape hours! :)
