Ana - I would love to hook you up but I've grown pretty attached to them. If you're really in the market for a good meter, I'd suggest eBay. Good meters are designed to be used and abused on a daily basis, so you can usually buy used with a fair degree of confidence.
If you're patient, there are good deals to be had too... Especially if you're buying from someone who isn't knowledgable about the item. I got one of these for $100 because the guy (pawn shop owner) didn't know that it's normal for the voltage reading to jump around when the leads aren't attached to anything. Basically, I got all three for a little less than the MSRP of one of them.

Also keep in mind that I'm a little bit of a tool ...... A Fluke 87V is huge over kill for vape related purposes. In fact I've considered finding something smaller for the vape bag. The 87V takes up a lot of real estate in a little bag.

This whole 'man purse' conversation makes me smile. My husband was the ultimate 'he man'. Mountain man type. I remember us attending business meetings in big fancy offices. Everyone would be in business suits, and carrying briefcases. There my husband would be, with blue jeans, work boots, and a military olive drab tool bag. In it, would be an extra gun, phone, and folded papers, etc.. I used to pick on him about it being his purse. Sometimes, when he would step away, people would ask "Is it true there are guns in there?". He was a character. I miss him.

I figured it was cheap enough for me to experiment with a bit of sanding and polishing.

I'd like to see how it turns out after you're finished with it. I have quite a few things I'd like to sand/polish.

wow it seems to be getting slower and slower - unless there are a heap of ELA's in the later order numbers.

To be fair, we're nearing the end of batch 1 and I think a lot of people were rushing to get in before the deadline. I imagine there are quite a few more ELA's in the last 100 orders of this batch than normal. I bet once we hit batch 2, orders numbers will start spacing out again.

Definitely some nice stuff. I couldn't imagine carrying that much around all over the place. I keep a cheap liner lock knife, a head lamp, a 18650 flashlight, some condoms and a case with an assortment of 18XXX batteries in my backpack. That goes with me everywhere.

My vape bag is a little more task specific. Basically everything needed to build coils and surviving juice emergencies.
As far as brand names...

Thanks jasl90, I'm kind of all over the map with my stuff, yours looks a little more purposeful with a mission in mind, and with quality stuff. The big light I have is 4" wide at the lens and uses a high power LED - takes 4 18650's and puts out some serious light ...
