Regarding the ELA and P+ locking button. Yes, it needs to be lined up and though not as easy as the simple spin locks on mods including the Simplicity, there's far more engineering, complexity and machine time into it and you just can't beat the cool factor in my opinion, that's why I did, because I could and that's what mechanical mods to me represent: cutting edge engineering, integration, form and function. There's no locking mechanism out there even close to the ELA and P+:)

Yes sir, and VERY well done! Regarding your other homework ...

• Integrated Feeder/Rebuildable Atomizer
• Integrated 306 Atomizer Top with Feeder and Adjustable Draw
• Integrated Screw on Kick Enclosure

Integrated Screw on Kick Enclosure DONE!

Integrated Feeder/Rebuildable Atomizer, Integrated 306 Atomizer Top with Feeder and Adjustable Draw?
You have been conspicuously silent on these two challenges, and no doubt because your entry into the atty world will not be trivial but as ground breaking as the ELA was to telescoping mods. However, this does not alleviate you from a loyal customer update once in a while, so how's it going David? - as in OUT WITH IT!

I dont know if I would say "sharp" its a definite angle. I havent cut my self nor felt like it was "cutting" into my fingers, hand etc. If I take my thumb and scrape it against the edge , I feel it scrape, but not enough to take skin off. I guess If I fell down in the ELA happened to be positioned in the exact way to get all my weight right on the edge it might cut me?

If I run it against my lips, its not sharp enough to be knife like. Someone said if you take the accent ring facing down, its smoother or you can take a buffing wheel to it and round it off slightly?

The locking button I dont feel any sharpness, it was stiff, but now its smooth.

The top corner of my knurled locking ring has that sharp-edged feel to it, but it just feels like it could be and can't actually do any damage (well, maybe if I tried really hard it could ;-) ). Kinda threw me a little when I first used it, but I barely notice anymore.

I'm more worried about dropping it and breaking a toe

When I slide the lock, the surrounding button is a little pokey on my fingertip. I think my p+ was like that at first, too. Eventually you'll get the locking detent broken in and it'll require less force to push the lock slider, so it won't feel as stabby.

I've never felt the top cap air channels before now. They feel fine to me. The only way the channels will snag my fingertip is if I try to screw my finger into the 510 connector. Since I use tanks and not fingers it'll never be an issue.

The telescoping tube accent ring is sharp at the top, but the top edge is always flush underneath the top cap so that's no big.

Those are the only hard scrapey corners I can think of.

I'll have you let you hold my Prometey for a while. Its bottom cap is very rough -- I'm not sure whether it's the engraving or just an un-softened edge, but it's unpleasant.

As for the ELA, I bet when the pre-orders have all shipped, David would be willing to knock down the edges for you.

Its not that the edges are actually sharp... They are perfect 90 degree angles in stainless steel! To us, our brain processes this as sharp, because we've never experienced such perfect machining in a mod before. If it were sharp, I would think the angles would have to be less than 45 degree angles. Much like you would see on an axe or katana.

Could some of the edges been chamfered? Sure! But you still don't have to worry about slicing yourself open due to a straight 90 degree angle cut...just doesn't feel the most comfortable (until you get used to it)

Ultimately, whenever I pick up my ELA, I never consider sharp edges -- only profound satisfaction. If Ollivander's sold vaping mods, the ELA would be the one that chose me. It just feels perfect. And can we talk about how buttery smooth the firing button action is?

I think one of these days I'm going to have to send my P+ back and see if David or his minions can work on its firing button and make it as smooth as the ELA. It's due for another media blasting, anyway. :)

I like to incorporate edges on my parts that are very distinct, crisp, 90 degree, sharp (not to be confused with "sharp" cutting edges)with minimal chamfers. We usually run our part chamfers on the CNC machine at .005 to .025 max depending on the part, so there are chamfers, just very minimal. I don't like rounded, fuzzy, melded/melted, overly buffed edges, it's just hiding that the parts don't line up well. I've assembled hundreds of these now and have never been cut so don't worry that its sharp like as in a knife, they won't cut you, you can chamfer them more if you'd like, I leave that up to you, that's why they call them APV's :)

Very cool! That explains it! Thanks! :)
