I wish I thought ahead and bought the brass rings. I'm not a fan of them shiny but love brass when it turns green. I'd have put them outside and let them sit for a year or two.

Not that this has anything to do with anything, but thank you, James.
I've seen this before, so... pics, or it didn't happenOr you could do what I did and use chemicals to accelerate the patina. The simplest way is using the fumes from ammonia, but I went the more difficult route and used some pretty crazy chemicals that I had available.

ammonia? hmmm, guess I could put the brass in the cat litter box for a few days ? ......![]()
Sorry for the delay, New Years set things back a day or two.. Heres a mockup picture. Please note, the sides won't be as tall as pictured, its because the back half of it hasn't been machined in and threaded so half that height will disappear. Hopefully start shipping on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. It's a cool, must have little accessory for you ELA fans. You can switch back and forth between your slant and Flat bottom in just a few seconds! It locks, though admittedly its a bit fiddly, but you don't need to lock it most of the time now that its flat and can stand up no problem without firing, only need to lock it when out and about.

My 2 ELA's are up on the Super T website.. You better be FAST
And with that, I bid you farewell...

Sorry if this is rude or imposing but what position are you guys in?
VERY slick David, SO glad you kept the ELA locking mechanism intact! That is one of the hallmarks of this uncompromising Super-T design along with quick telescoping/ring lock, rhodium over gold plated contacts, etc. All done with exceptional workmanship to yield a mech with no peers. You have now relegated other bottom button designs obsolete in terms of bullet-proof locking when needed and safe tail-standing when not ... WELL DONE!

This is a pic that I posted back in June when I got my first ELA. This was literally taken the day after I received her. I can't remember all the chemicals I used, but silver chloride was one of them.

Thank you, i'm glad you like the look of it. I don't think it will regulate other buttons obsolete as i actually think buttons that are fully shielded like this and other designs out there aren't the easiest of use as you have to reach around and push in so to speak. I prefer a fully exposed button like the Simplicity style or the Semi exposed of the original ELA, but this is cool in that is uses your existing button and locks (locking is a bit of a pita, but now you don't have to lock it as much anyway).
I love it and I love that it uses the existing SuperT button......Plus you saved me money I did not order the Satburn button.... No aftermarket parts on my SuperT ELA......100% Genuine SuperT or nothing!
