I used the flat bottom on my ELA all day today, using two washers on the button. The throw on the button is so shallow that it'll fire even when locked. In spite of that, I threw my ELA into my pocket several times, but never had any accidental firings. The button stays pretty well bunkered in and untouched when idle, but activates almost like a touch sensor when intended. I think I'm going to leave it set up like this.

So far , installation is easy. Use...... Its a bit awkward, but probably due to my diminished finger dexterity ( stupid lame hands) Both a work of art, but Im going to give the new button a chance ..... but the slant is just more "natural" for me so far......

This was a very nice surprise from a wonderful, amazing friend.:)

Wow, I've never been to this thread but sheesh. Hurts a bit since I can't seem to find one of these anywhere :) lookin good though

Howdy neighbor! My 'other home' is Delaware.

Keep your eye on here. They have a tendency to show up now and then. Keep an eye on the Super-T sight. On occasion, there is a cancellation. Ignore the 'out of stock'. Try to 'add to cart'. Good luck!

Welcome and have patience, they show up every once in a while on the site. Just check and try to put on in the cart , sometimes like magic one will go in your cart and if it shows, its yours.

Although I'm a 1st batcher, and have had my ELA for a while now, I have to admit that my ELAxicon is not as refined as it should be...which one is the accent ring, the one on top or the one on the bottom? I ask because I want to know if anyone has put 2 of the top ones in 18650 mode and if so, could we please get a picture. Thanks

I posted this a couple weeks ago, The polished on the right has two of the top pieces. The finish doesnt match perfectly because Ive had it since June? and the second top part is really new. I wish that David would make a double length so its one nice smooth piece.

That's a great pic to show what 2 accent rings will get you in 18650 mode. There is a solution to your wish to have a continuous single ring that takes up all the extended battery tube length. You can order SS tubing (or brass) cut to your specifications that would accomplish that - I haven't looked around but I know they exist. The other option is to move the upper accent ring all the way to the top and fill the middle space with a little of your own creativity - that's what I will probably do. I'm thinking maybe a narrow green ring of some material (like glass), maybe faceted to catch a little light - to signify pollution free smoking! There are a a lot of dweebs out there that need to be educated that vaping is safe and the green solution for smokers. They need to stop getting their panties all up in a bunch every time someone pulls out a PV in a non-smoking/public area.

"See that green ring dude (or dudette), it signifies a non-polluting device, I'm only blowing vapor and it's totally safe. Anyone who tells you otherwise is actually blowing smoke up your wazoo!"
