Certainly keeps headbutting challenges to a minimum eh :)
Back to trim rings to take up the space on an ELA in 18650 mode. Just how much space is left if you use the accent rings supplied plus a 2nd set? Maybe you can only use 3 with 1 shortened? See link to pic, I think that is what is supplied in the standard ELA pre-order so that x2 if you ordered an extra set. If 4 total gives you more combined length than you need then machining 1 down to size would work right?

The upper bling ring is 14mm long. This is because David builds his devices primarily to use AW IMR batteries. The difference in size between an AW IMR 18350 and an 18490 is 14mm. So for a 65mm battery, the difference in length between an AW 18350 and an 18650 should be 30mm, which is 2mm longer than 2x bling rings. The Panasonic CGR18650CH button top is even longer at 67mm. So, depending on what battery you use, there will be at least a 2mm gap using two bling rings in 18650 mode, maybe more. As far as I can see, there's no real way to make a one-size-fits-all ring, even just for 18650 batteries, unless it could be made in a bendy straw accordion shape.

Edit: It's also worth noting that an 18350 + Kick is a millimeter or so longer than an AW IMR 18490.

The only halfway realistic solution I can fathom would be to stack 1mm brass (or stainless) rings until the gap is gone. 14 rings for an 18490, 15 for 18350 + Kick, 32 for a Panasonic hybrid button top, 45 for an AW 18650 + Kick, and so on. I don't really think I'd enjoy having that many separate parts to keep polished, though.

I love bendy straws! :)

Thanks rojo, 2mm gap is pretty thin so that might be good enough for me, anyone have a pic with both bling rings on in 18650 mode?

Wow, so technical. It is hard to make on that fits perfectly for all, thats why Id be happy with a simple just double length. It will leave a little gap, but a little gap is sooo much better on the eye than that large gap , especially with large atties like the Kayfuns, Odysseus, Taifuns and others of the size.

Im trying to keep it a simple request so that maybe the higher powers at Super-T might make up a few:)

I really do hope Super-T follows the Strata with a tank version, or an add on to tank it.:)

Booyah! I quadruple dog dare David to make a Strata with a tank! I don't know, maybe he used up all his creative energy making the ELA and the Strata and doesn't have it in him to make a tank version. Maybe he isn't man enough? We'll just have to wait and see

(I am hoping my immature attempt at attacking his manhood will spark the desire to make a tank version, you know, just to show me. This would probably be more effective coming from one of them women on the board but they haven't been woman enough to step up the goading. Avid, Cucco, get on it!)

I am waiting, for all the ELAs to get to their homes. Then, I want a tank. I believe, he will make us one. :)

Here is my KFM on a Piccolo next to a Spheroid on a Piccolo if it helps.

We just discussed in length the 2.1 on the PAPS thread 2 days ago. It is definitely a performer. The vape production is fantastic and the flavor produced in the small chamber is incredible. Many are overwhelmed at the chimney base size that must be placed over the wick but, it is easier than it looks and worth it. I haven't been without one since the release.
Although, I feel the Spheroid has it in flavor, construction, wicking medium/setup and looks if you are looking for a stealth classy looking set up. Owning 4 Spheroids, I am a bit bias.

This is a Spheroid I polished recently. They are sold in a couple finishes now.

It would look incredible on a Super T Device, incredible.
Something similar to this

O.K.. Here we go again. Super-T has sent me shipping notice. Is it my ELA #2? Or, is it my solid top caps? Seems to me, I have been here before. But, it's all good! I love all Super-T packages, containing beautifully machined treasures! :)
Maybe they are sending it all together:)
