I took a provari and KFL thru security with no problem. They just asked what it was and I told them.

Yea right, given the .5" of rain they get annually! Bro, new shoes, we were dining in some high end spots. I waterproof everything! Everything! Come close to me and you'll get doused as well!!

Well, my new and original top caps and center pin are now in the good hands of super t for fitting. Hopefully I'll be ELA-less for just a short time.
I still haven't tested all of mine.
Did we ever find out, when the center pins are altered, will they then work in both the 'original' and 'solid' caps?
I was never quite clear on the issue, so I sent back my original top cap along with the new ones. I just wrote in the letter that I wanted to make sure the center pin would still fit in the original top cap after being adjusted to fit the new ones.
I thought one of us emailed David, requesting that info. I never saw a posting, of the result of that email. Does anyone have the answer? If I remember correctly, the 'older' ELA center pins were not working with the 'solid' caps. Once altered, will they work in all ELA caps? Original/Solid/Older ELA/Newer ELA?
It was me who emailed them. I did get a response but it wasn't quite clear whether I needed to send back the original top cap along with the new ones, so I just sent them all back along with the center pin. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out.

Yes, when we press your Rhodium plated center post into the new adjustable holder, it will fit old ELA's and new ELA's, all cap types including adjustable draw. It was a thread problem on the first batch of ELA adjustable center post holder. Newer models aren't having the problem. Our fix is that you send in your adjustable post holder (it contains the pressed in Rhodium contact that we need to press out and press into the new adjustable post holder). Some have sent the caps, but we no longer need those, just the adjustable post holder. We have no more rhodium plated contacts, so we need to use your existing one.
Just to be clear I send in my Post holder/Rhodium plated contact....Then you put the Rhodium plated contact in a new Post holder...Then it will fit the new Precise ELA Solid Top Cap.... Will it also fit my original ELA 2 piece Top Cap with the new Post holder? I have been holding back as I don't want to lose the ability to use my original ELA top cap......
