Gosh, honestly I am thankful that all of you more experienced vapers are preordering the ELA to keep it alive. Because I have very little experience with RBAs (my only PVs are a fake eGo with carto-tank and an SS Twist with an Eternity), I've decided to work up to the ELA by getting myself a Natural and Terminator-C. Thanks to you guys, David has a concrete, paying loyal following to continue the Super-T design philosophy. I'm waiting for the ELA+rba combo until I buy. I won't get the only "end-all-be-all" unless I am able to take care of it.

Go David and Super-T!

Well, I was in the market for a good telescopic mod. I was going to get a GUS Telescopic to compliment my EA Mod, but in the course of searching ECF, I ran across this tread. I took the plung and placed my order for the ELA yesterday. The mod looks really cool, can't wait to get it.

I'm super excited to see David's ELA in my Genesis arsenal for sub 1.0 Ohm vaping.
Can anyone vouch for the Precise+ as a SuperLowResistance device?
I don't know squat about technical stuff that makes a device good for that.

i can vouch. im using a dual coil on an igo-l with a Precise +18500. my ohm is at 0.24. im guessing thats about 57 watts?

I can attest to the P+ running well with SLR coils, but I don't go quite as low as v4pe. I set mine up in the 0.7-0.9 ohm range. I still think that while many love running SLR, it's a very delicate balance and it definitely won't be for everyone. The warm vapor is great, but there comes a point (for me) where it can get too hot. Also, not all juices can survive with SLR coils. My menthols perform great below 0.7 ohms, but my sweeter RY4s tend to burn up and that's why I settled in at 0.7-0.9. One great thing about SLR is that it allowed me to finally get down to zero nic!

My goal is to get down to zero nic. Sometime soon I'm stepping down to 6mg!

A nice goal for everyone! Sad part is... a lot of people are self medicating with nicotine for depression and may not even know it.

I was reading a thread some time back and a few posters said that when they got thier nic levels too low they started feeling sad and it didn't go away till they brought their levels up a little bit. If I had to choose between vaping and pills... Vaping please! lol

thanks... I'll admit, and I have been vaping only a few different juices for over a year now, that I am still in the honeymoon phase with SLR (but only .8 to .9... nothing below that... sure .24 isn't a typo?) and you're right... it makes the juice taste different. For the most part I find it tends to bring out the flavor better, but yeah, some juices tend to taste better at higher resistance (1.5 Ohms at 9w) than the sub 1.0 Ohms.
My ADV is Pluid, and it shines at just about any voltage/watts. I have it in a Hybrid at .9 and a Penelope 1.7 Ohm at 10w.... both spectacular flavor.

If I don't tilt the juice into the wick on my SLR's (.9 Ohms), It's a harsh, hot throat burner every time... and thank goodness, although Pluid is sweet, I don't use the darker heavier sweeter juices.

Any schedule for ELAs in future (people who haven't preordered, when they could buy? Any extras made?)?

There is no list or set number for pre-orders, and they plan to stock them regularly. So you can pre-order right now if you want to. :)
Still a few weeks until they are ready though.

We are now running the extension tubes (both the regular length and the optional extra length). Fit like a glove. Those who are used to traditional threading telescoping mods, won't believe the rigidity and lack of play between the body and telsecoping section. It really becomes one.

Good news indeed! So what is left anyway? The caps, switches, and accent rings?

Ermahguuurd I'm getting so antsy! Lol

Aren't they using the same switches from the P+ line? In any case, I imagine he's getting pretty close to having everything done and ready for fitting and testing. No clue how long the platers take on their part though. Optimistically I'm hoping for an April 1st ship date... a real one of course, not the April fool's kind haha. Realistically, I bet people will get their hands on one in mid-April.

I'm pretty antsy too... f5'ing this thread probably isn't helping me either.

Yeah the internal part of the switch is the same, excluding the outer body part. but he only has like 150 of them.. Not sure how many pre orders there are.. But yeah. I was thinking around the same time of the beginning of Aprilish.

Where do you get on the pre order list?
