ELA comes with its own set of accent rings.... the bottom one screws in above the switch and the top one is optional to fill the gap when the telescopic tube is pulled out.

Additional accent rings in brass are available too. Mix and match combos, etc.

i wonder how many are ordered...
I admire all the early ones patience, which should be rewarded soon, and i hope my order is not too far behind.
to hell with cheaper imitations. i ordered a second today, a week after the first order.
I figure we're in on the ground floor of an icon of a mechanical device. USA made at that.

Got some cartos and rocked a Jtank to work today. I actually enjoyed it. I used my aga-T for a bit and it didn't taste right idk why but this tank has been working good. I have a 19MM IBtanked coming for my P+ and I'm excited.

Hi Nach. When I pre-ordered I went for extra the accent ring ($19.99) in brass . Do I need to add another to my order if I wanted to completely cover the tele tube in 18650 mode? And if that is right is Forced ok about adding extra stuff to the pre-order?

I'm not sure if just stacking 2 rings will completely cover the gap, however if you shoot David an e mail it shouldn't be a problem to add to the order. Worst case scenario you place another order for the second set, and he ships them together and refunds you the second postage fee. His e mail is in the stickies.

I think David mentioned it would take 2 and a half to cover the sleeve when in 18650 mode. Though he did mention about trying to do a sleeve later on to cover that.

I don't think stacking two rings would look good. Plus it adds more weight. It looks good with just one or none.

It would look nice with a sleeve. I myself dont mind the extra weight. It would look so sleek.

Hrmmm.... what do you folks think about maybe some sort of decorated tubes? Woodgrain, carbon fiber, etc. Would be able to achieve that without using metal, so those wouldn't add much weight. I would expect some 3rd party manufacturers to make accessories for ELA if it becomes as big of a success as I believe it will. David has to nip it in the bud before someone else profits!

Maybe it is just me, but I am not one that likes the idea of putting stickers on my devices. Some are huge for it. I can just see them getting scratched then the curling. Plus I never was very good at applying my stickers to my barbrie dream home. No matter how hard I tried, they were still crooked.

Wasn't there talks of anodized rings later down the line?

Not a happy camper right now.

This is the place for all updates. It takes time for perfection. I know its hard, Ive been waiting since mid December, but I knew it was going to be a long wait. It is hard to wait, but Im sure you wont be disappointed.
