The optional accent rigns all come in polished, so it would be two tone. With the unit though, the rings would match the finish type choosen.

So, the only way to get satin finished accent rings is to order a satin ELA? I'm assuming this is the only way to ensure the finish matches.

If so, then I'm even more glad I ordered satin!

that means we're still under 400 units... 200 + 200 limit for pre-order batches. I just hope my first order is in the first batch.

I've just traded off my Poldiac set and an iHyb for one crazy expensive setup -
and figuring I'm making room for my 2 ELA's.

I've picked up a few P+ through the classies just because they are so cool for Genesis vaping.
fwiw P+ really holds its resale value.
Just pre-ordered the ELA this morning (polished SS, brass accent)...

As I posted before, I am quite excited about the product. The approach to the telescoping mechanism looks to be unprecedented.

My only complaint with the Electric Angel that I own is that I have to periodically "tighten" it due to the fact that the tubes "loosen" with normal use (definitely not a knock on the product as this is to be expected). I do have one question regarding the ELA however (admittedly it may be a dumb one) but will it be possible to substitute magnets is lieu of the spring as relates to the firing button?

Thanks!

I suppose it would technically be possible to use magnets, but I think it would take a lot of modification to the mod to make something that would work. Here is a pic of the P+ button assembly

The spring rests on a small ledge near the outside edge of the button assembly and on the other side pushes on a small ledge on the ID of the tube just under the battery. When pressed, the whole button moves up to contact the bottom of the battery. Adding magnets to one of these mods would be a rather large customization project, I believe.

I can think of at least one way to do it that wouldn't involve modifying the device itself (custom made magnet on battery, insulated from the tube walls, and a custom made button post with the other magnet on it), but doing so would negate the conductivity benefit of the rhodium plated contacts. That would be a total deal-breaker for me :)

Unfortunately, magnets will not work in the P+ or Precise ELA. Though they may work and feel good, they do add another electrical junction electricity has to pass through and with Telescoping mods we already have a lot of electrical junctions so minimizing them is best for reliable and consistent switch function.

I' m considering adding a superT drip tip to my order.
Anyone knows which one is the absolute must-have?

I want to add the Tanbur SS T-Tip to my order but they are out of stock. Bummer cause shipping cost will be ridiculous if I just buy the tip a la carte in the future.

SuperT has always been a great source for AW batts... i figure I'll just add a d/t to my batt order which inevitably comes around.

Someone mentioned modding the switch mechanism for a longer throw so it would stand up without firing... my P+500 does that... it just has to be a flat surface... not sure if it was modded, but saves time and effort.
The other thing I do is lay it on an angle against a large object; I have a large crystal in front of my computer screen. I've also seen a nice wooden mod holder that has them leaning at an angle... that should work too.

Let me apologize in advance as I am sure this question has been answered in previous posts. Alas, I was unable to locate the answer; therefore, I am reposting the question. Given that I ordered the ELA a few days ago, when can I expect delivery? I realize one cannot rush perfection (and this mod looks like the closest I have seen to perfection) however I am hoping I can get a rough idea as to the date.

Thanks a lot
