another USA made Genesis atomizer will be ready for its debut around same time next week... Stratus 22.
these like the ELA are pre-order too...
i've been on that list longer than the ELA as the builder was doing the 19mm which is a very cool Geni that fits the Precise+ like a dream.

Today, I was just reminded of why I told myself to buy from Super T moving forward....

So I opened up my Ithaka that I procured at Vapebash. Taking apart piece after piece trying to make sense of how this thing works. I realized several things... first of all there are SO many parts!! At least 15 parts, maybe more. YIKES! Then I looked at it a little more closely and noticed quite a few machining flaws (David, you've spoiled me). Some rough edges on the parts that "you don't see" and the like. Don't get me wrong, its a pretty rba, it really is. But now seeing the complexity of it with all its many parts got me thinking about electrical junctions. Man, what a crazy device if you're trying to steer clear of this!! Aside from that, it just seems to be an overall pain because of the use of non-resistance wire and resistance wire, many parts to deal with, tons of electrical junctions, ceramics, silica, etc.... Its a PAIN! :)

Fortunately it sold on the classies within 13 minutes and I'm now seriously just going to wait for Super T rba's. I know they're going to be the best. As well as be the best for my ELA in both fit and finish. Perhaps, I'll just order yet another ELA. :)

Haha I see you, the Ithaka is quite the device. But it vapes rather great! :)
But the non-resistance wire stuff is a PIA for sure.
But now I have it down and it's easy to set up, apart from the NR-wire twisting.
Kayfun is a dream to set up, quite a bit easier and a fantastic vape as well.
But I look forward to what David comes up with for a hybrid connection RBA for the ELA. :)

I also can't wait. I have a feeling the ELA is the first part of the super super-t setup. I am convinced that bottom fed atomizers are the way to go unless someone designs a center wick genny which I don't think will work too well.

There are some interesting designs out there and I hate to say it but I think I prefer the Ody clone over the AGA-T now. Even Kanger is catching on with the Protank and evod.

Still the best vape I have had to date was on an Ithaka/GGTS setup. I am waiting for an atty that comes out that will be bottom fed, ceramic, and with intake, exhaust and fluid control. I think you should be able to fine tune an atty like a Holley 4 barrel.

at any rate, this is an epic debut... made in USA - new mechanical telescoping ELA - from none other than SuperTmanufacturing... :)

the choice of first atomizer has to be good!

at this point I'll probably break in the new Stratus 22... if its here.... if not, I'm going with ... one of my 4 other Genesis atomizers heheh.

Believe me guys, if I can make 20 in a row once a week, with my stupid messed up hands, anyone can do it. Just keep making them. Take a day cut the pieces of wires needed and just make a dozen or two. Wire is cheap. I use the small pliers on my leatherman tool to twist while I hold the longer ends with my left thumb and index finger tightly I make a couple twists, then tighten up the base of the union. If I find that the lower end is twisting up, I grab the base with the pliers and undo some of the lower twists.

I also switched from sterling silver to 32 gauge pure nickel wire, its tougher and you can get the twists much more tight without breaking midway like sterling. I also use 32 gauge kanthal. Having the wires match in size makes it easier too.

I just got my payment notice today also. I've been on the list so long that I totally forgot about it. I picked up one of the 19mm onesin the classifieds, and is like it was made for the +P 16340. The flavor from it is outstanding. I hope that the air chamber is not too large on the 22mm. I also got payment notice on the media blasted Diablo Hybrid. I am going to have to lock myself in a room and do nothing but vape for a month!

The Silver Dog has a center wick, and it works very well. From what I read (it was before my vape time) the original genesis atomizers had center wicks. The top feed attys, like the Cyclone and Genesis NV also have center wicks. The work pretty good, no dry hits and they drain the tank to the bottom. They do have a pretty cool vape though.

I think I need to find some of that nickel wire, the silver is really fragile. Where did you buy it?
I'm also eyeing the tsaf wire welder.

I have to say after 4 days using the Kayfun and Ithaka, I'm not sure I'm going to bother to mess around with Genesis atties much more. :)

I don't know if its the same with the Ithaka, but my Penelope came with 23 premade wires! 23!....
I've had it for a couple months and vape it daily in rotation, and I still have 20 wires left!

Hard to beat GG atomizers got to say, yet I keep my Pene around 1.2 Ohms, nothing lower for silica for me.
I'm using it on a VW at 10 watts, but for the ELA I, 1.1 might put it down at 1.0 Ohms.
