We are applying for a patent for the ELA covering its unique telescoping mechanism and adjustable draw/hybrid center post top cap (the button design is already patent pending from the Precise) but patent's and patent pending doesn't stop most foreign countries, nor does it even stop all unsavory US suppliers. Take for example the mod who took the patent pending design of the Precise button mechanism. We can't just blame foreign countries either, there are several US suppliers just as unscrupulous.

Previously, we had no real way to combat copiers, but with machining in house, and yet another CNC machining center in the works, we'll eventually implement a strategy whereas if our unique designs are taken by other companies, we'll then turn around and produce and sell their copied "adaptation" of it at a lower price then they are selling it for, which should forego any further incentive to copy. It just hasn't been feasible in the past due to production restraints but we are working hard to remedy that.

Another way to combat copiers is to have in stock product, of the highest quality with cutting edge innovation. That's the best formula of all to discourage copiers.

David I'm impressed with your business model as outlined here. It's one of the reasons I chose to order 2 ELAs, I just love the idea of things that work well and are of impeccable quality. I've owned chinese copies of mods and while they work well most of the time, the fit and finish and overall quality is lacking, one of the reasons I was drawn to Super T in the first place. I've also experienced this with audio equipment where clones and copies were made to look beautiful but the overall quality and performance was lacking and noticeable...looking forward to receiving my ELAs, my first Super T products, although I'm tempted to order a Precise 10440 just to experience the quality sooner.

Can we order more gear from SuperT and have added to shipping with the ELA?
ie. SS d/t's , batts ...accent rings

Whenever possible, we prefer to ship right away, it saves a lot of time in clerical and then having to pull and store (and then it ends up getting misplaced).

In with regards to conductivity using rhodium do you see major difference with voltage drops? Just asking.

The way I understand it is - the rhodium isn't to raise or lower conductivity directly, the conductivity is really handled by the brass. The rhodium plating is thin enough that it doesn't affect the conductivity (the electricity passes through the thin layer). What it does do, is prevent the brass underneath from tarnishing and getting nasty dirty. Cleaning the contacts is as simple as wiping it with a soft cloth or tissue. I've gotten completely spoiled by the rhodium plating - the other PV's I have that use raw brass are such a hassle to clean - my Provari's looks like crap and I do my best to keep it from tarnishing.

I believe that David is dead on with his plan. The ELA has been the only device that I've been willing to even pre-order much less sit like a hawk with an F5 key to hope for a chance to buy someones work. I can't tell you how many times I've seen some equipment in a vape meet or an online review and went to go buy it only to find it not in stock and no idea when it would be in stock. I've bought many knock-offs because of that and while I'm happy enough with some of them I would have bought the original had it been available.

Thank you David, I'm even happier now with my purchase knowing that you have interest in delivering quality products people can actually buy when they want one.

Superior quality, functionality, innovative design, and built in quantities that can be sold in a reasonable amount of time. What a concept! :toast:

I've found your shipping prices to be very good... speaking of shipping, are you intending to have a large re-supply of AW IMR 490 and 650 in at some time?
I love the 1600 mah IMR 650's

so many things in motion for debut of ELA... devices being displaced, sold, moved aside... gear being readied; atomizers, rbs's, tanks, mods... accessories etc.
X200, X200...

i've told myself not to get hyper... but have stuff to do for this. Ha ha.

Told myself sometime next week...

Like end of week, if on the first 200 list... maybe early delivery the week after... hmm hmm hmm. :) enough already.

So when we have the longer battery in it and there is that "tube" exposed, can we use extra "accent rings" to hide that part? Kind of fillin in the gap?
i think you could but.. David spoke to that a ways back in the thread saying it wouldn't look good for some reason, i seem to recall...?
