Well, you're in Texas if I'm not mistaken. I'm in Croatia. Usually it takes about two weeks from America, if customs doesn't seize it. Our customs are known for heavily delaying packages, seizing packages and it's not unheard of that they open packages and check the price of the contents online before hitting you with 35% of the original price as tax. Welcome to Croatia :(

Sorry, I didn't think about who I was replying to. Here's hoping customs thinks it's a $10 flashlight!

I live in the USA and customs here seized a package of mine from Greece. Held it for about 10 days then charged me an extra duty later. Kind of sucks..

That's cool. I've never seen you actually buy anything before. Your needs seem Spartan.

In all seriousness, Snork. I'm really gonna take a sabbatical from buying mechanical PVs after I get my ELAs ( :) ). I waited way too long for a telescope PV with everything that I wanted. ELA has answered that call. At the end, I'm trying really hard to be a minimalist, and not a collector. I really don't need too much to be happy :)

Hey guys, I can relate with Nic here. Since I got my first PV (the fake eGo) I've been researching to surpass the HQ PV learning curve. I gave my FeGo away, eventually the Eternity Twist. All I have now is the tentative backup of the Term-C and Natural.

All of this to hasten my learning curve by force. In my research during the FeGo days, I'd found the ELA and decided to pre-order once I I was sure I could handle it. After months of practice, I finally feel worthy (skill-wise) for the ELA.

I just want to point out that as Nic alludes, minimalism is really a lifestyle as opposed to a philosophy of just plain buying less. Just trying to demonstrate how it all works from the viewpoint of a poor college student.

very interesting... touching on a philosophy of minimalism, and then a lifestyle of spartanism by necessity... hmmm i admire that although i have given myself over to hedonistic pursuits of vaping pleasure... not only looking for the "best" but also comparing "bests"...
from the highest to the low.

It amazes me how some diy'ers can take a clone device or atomizer, and mod it if needed, having the discernment to see beyond the price of a high end items for what they really can do, and see that the results could be duplicated for a lot less $, and even refinish it to look fabulous.
I never had the patience or discipline... if it costs more it should at least get me to where i wanted; a great vape.
Lately I've gotten a few clones that are pretty decent, even un-modded, compared to the high end alternatives that i've gotten my mitts on.

I've noticed that today's RDA's with silica or cotton, like the iGo L, Reomizer2, Prometey, imo are providing the peak of flavor and vapor slightly edging my wonderful genesis atomizers...and my Pene... Prometey has a tank i think; but i believe those who say its the best vape ever (don't have mine yet).

That said, as far as power delivery devices (APV's), I believe great mechanicals are the best (for my needs) due to the rather low resistance coils (.7 to 1.4 Ohms) giving the best vapes in rba's and rda's (haven't gotten into super low ie. .4, .5. or .6 ... lol.

I'm hoping the ELA telescopic matches the performance of the best mechanicals, but i'm quite sure it will at least fall in the range needed to power an rba/rda to a super great vape (not too much voltage drop).

There are so many devices that can do that is what i'm saying here... even my dna20 box mod can handle low resistance (manufacturer says 1.0 Ohm is the limit) and i'm loving that because of the LED readout too! My Reo Grand with Reomizer2 (chalice anyone?) is a keeper too.

But I've got to pare down at some point just for the sake of my belief in efficiency... i keep making work for myself with more and more different gear that basically does the same thing....hahah.

ELA has answered that call. Nic

No disrespect intended...Has it? Not sure, but I think possibly you don't even possess it yet. Are you basing your statement on one vid and a couple of pics? looks alone or because you can change your battery in eta 2 seconds? Bottom line it is a telescopic mod that looks nice. I have other high end telescopic mods in my collection that I am willing to bet vapes just as good, and I am assuming the ELA will.

My point is ALOT of us are 'collectors' and that is direct thanks to quality places like SuperT. I hope that the ELA lives up to everyone's expectations. I know I will never sell mine on the open market even if it does not live up to MY expectations. Call me a 'Collector' of reasons to not go back to analogs.

Thanks forcedfuel for a nice piece of artwork, now lets see how she performs.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that the ELA will perform at least as well as the best mechanical you've ever used. I'm betting it'll be better.

My P+ hits harder than any other mechanical I've ever used, probably due to a combination of the rhodium-plated contacts and excellent machining with no wiggly contact points that you have to crank down to still. One of these days I'm going to break down and get a 510 voltage meter to test my empirical observations -- but between my P+ and my GG Stealth, it feels like about a quarter to a half a volt difference for warmth and TH.

If the ELA performs as well as the P+ line, you both are going to be pleased. Dizz, I daresay the video and a few pics aren't all that nicblazer is basing his prediction on. It's not just a telescoping mod that looks nice. Truth be told, I'd probably prefer a Shockwave-style side firing button, and the ELA appears more utilitarian than what I would call pretty -- at least until I view it in person. But I'm still in for an ELA primarily because of the rhodium plated contacts and because my P+ has given me full confidence in Super-T's ability to satisfy.

I am a nerd, not a collector. I don’t desire the “4000 dollar special edition, only-4-made, 120k gold, blood diamond inlay, forged in the fire primed by virgin billy goat hair and hand signed by the 9 year old prodigy creator in Antananarivo - Madagascar” APV.

I want something engineered and has the look and feel of a tool made by, and for, engineers. Meaning...something simplistic in look…but complicated in the effort took to MAKE it look simplistic. This ELA, based on what I’ve seen so far, is exactly that. The effort seems to be put into the construction, build, and function of the ELA. instead of just making it LOOK like a quality APV… making it an actual quality APV.

^That...
I agree 100%. I was attracted to the science behind ELA's design. It looks more utilitarian than blingy, and that's because it is. That to me makes for a very compelling product. Function over form any day of the week for me. It is pretty badass looking though too. :)
