omg this thread feels like "lost in time"... and "man in the mirror" time .... aghhh....15113.
oh well i only ordered in March; first week.
I'm sure David is going through it... lets just hope nothing gets that guy down.
SuperDave - Sending full-on support vibes.

Anybody using XS-116 or 118 silica sleeve for wicking in drippers? I have it in 2 of my iGo L's... seems really good so far.
(i think superT contoured d/t's are the way to go for rda's)

I got 5 mech. clone devices, with a couple iGo L's and a few high end Geni's ... one of which will be going on my first ELA.
Unless my Prometey gets here first. The iHyb and DID have porous ceramic wicks with RipTrippers cheesecloth wrap +1.
All these clones were gotten while waiting for the ELA... its been good; learning a lot in the meantime.

btw... i gave up on trying to set up a Diver... good grief; i just don't have the mindset for it... no way.

Dang, sorry to read that. I have had nothing but high praise for the Diver, since receiving it over 2 weeks ago. I will have 2 more Divers incoming.

Ukeman, I ordered the same week as you #15126, if I had put through my order the first time I had one in my cart, I'd be happily vaping it right now.

I just got some XS 116 silica last week and am also using it in an IGO-L. I quite like it, wrapped it with some .8 x .1 ribbon Kanthal at .8 ohms and it vapes like crazy and wicks really well. I like the idea of being able to dry burn to clean it as well although I haven't done that yet. Been buying way too many atty's "to go on top of the ELA when it arrives!"

I hope you get your shipping notice soon.....

i didn't use the coil/wick that came with it just because i was set on using in very low resistance; about 1.0 Ohm or less... so i tried to make my own coil, which is what you have to do eventually anyway.
I just got so frustrated with n/r, r wire, in thicker gauge, and then the thought of setting it in that tiny ceramic... oh my !
I got the set plus an iBtanked dct glass tank too.
I guess i could try it on a VV at the 2.x Ohms pre-set coil, but i just don't have the heart for it and will probably have a better time passing it on unused.

Don't forget folks, we did come off a holiday week. Both USPS and Super T had a day off this week. Hang in there!

Just a silly question. How tight does the noose have to be to hang in there?.................. I never wanted a device like this since I got my first Provari. :glug:

We also need to keep in mind, that we 'Pre-Ordered'. This is my first 'Pre-Order' in the vape world, but I have been here before, under similar circumstances. And, I have been the company on the other side of the 'Pre-Order'. Stuff happens.

But .. I'm just as anxious as everyone else. Particularly, since I currently have a very problematic vape. Hope we all get are ELA's real soon! :)

Ukeman I wouldn't be running sub ohm coils on your DNA20 for too long unless you can take the battery out, because it will lock up sooner or later and I know first hand how bad it sucks to unsolder a battery once it is soldered and fiddled into place just to do a reset, and also if your using the charger chipset from Evolv i'd suggest not running it as a passthrough unless you don't mind replacing it every couple of months. Just a friendly heads up :D

thanks Covert... i don't know why i posted sub 1.0 because I have been making a point to use 1.0 and up. I try to keep it around 1.1 to 1.2 Ohms. as specs say not below 1.0 Ohms.
I guess it was because the DNA20 has been outnumbered by the mechs 6:1.... thanks for pointing that out.

and I also posed the question about using as p/t... Brandon said it was ok.

my main point was if you are using higher wattage (over 10w), the batt time is pretty meager.

You were correct in saying that it will work. It will fire and read a 0.5 - 0.7 ohm for a lil while then lock up and you have to disconnect the battery to reset DNA . The only reason I said that about using it as a passthrough is that yes although it will work a couple modders myself included had to replace the charger prematurely because of doing so. ;) Just trying to save you from the same fate.

yes there was some ambiguity about P/T use from modder of my box, and Evolv should be more clear about that.
